I have an old vcr and ever once in awhile, I want to playback a tape. Of course it doesn't work and needs cleaning. This tape cleaner did the business perfectly. There was also a bottle of head cleaner Included that was unexpected but very welcome. All in all job done - well pleased. Many stars given.

You need to be careful with the bottle as the cap popped open and split everywhere but cleans up the video recorder nicely and no longer flickering like before

The first time I used this product, I squeezed the cleaner fluid but could not get a drop out. Then I squeezed even harder and the small head flew off, spraying me and my things with fluid. I poked the hole a bit wider with a skewer and the product cleaned my VHS heads, but I have wasted liquid. Nedis say they cannot sell me the liquid separately. So when the last few drops are used I must buy another tape, but it won't be this product. Not good value for money. Not happy.

This has improved the quality but not sufficeintly for clear playback

I've been going through old family tapes before to throwing them out to know what to capture before doing so.The old VCR was delivering a terrible picture .... used this cleaner just once and the picture is perfect.I did consider the dry tapes but suspect the wet process is more effective.

if you still have a VHS player or VHS-dvd combi this is a must have. You add the liquid fluid to the cassette tape insert it in your video player just like a normal video and it will clean the video player. It will clean the heads and will prolong your player for all your vhs video classics. A must have. 5 stars .
