Systane Nightime Eye Ointment (2 Pack)

Like many people, I've had eye surgeries, and, like many more people, I have to spend a great deal of time using either a computer, a tablet, or a mobile phone. As anyone who uses electronic devices for a good part of the day knows, too much use and your naturally dry eyes become so dry and inflamed they feel like sandpaper. I was using drops three or four times during the day, but they only gave me minimal relief, even though it was specified on the box that it was for dry eye. So, I started using Systane Gel for nighttime. I experienced instant relief. My eyes were so inflamed that it took a about a week before they felt "normal" again, and the gel does make your vision a bit blurry, so you want to use it when you're ready to go to sleep. Now, I want to stress that it doesn't make your eyesight so blurry that you can't see to get up to use the restroom or get a drink, etc., but you almost certainly won't be able to read or write once you put the gel in. The gel feels so cool and so soothing, it even makes sleeping more comfortable, and when you wake, you find your vision is so much sharper and clearer. The only thing better than Systane Gel for Nighttime would be a Systane gel for daytime, and that is now available. It's something I plan on trying very soon, as soon as my drops run out. If you're suffering from dry eyes or eyes that are just overworked, I don't think you can go wrong with this product.

My eyes burn during season changes and on sleepless night. I don’t know how I’d handle my eyes without Systane Nighttime Lubricant Eye Ointment. It works immediately. Makes your eyes feel cool and helps you get the rest you need. It’s a wonderful product!

My eye doctor mentioned this product for dry eyes. Please check with your doctor first before you start it, but if they are okay with this, it is good. You place a small amount in each eye at night and this helps with dryness.

I have had very dry eyes for over 40 years and have relied upon Systane products during the entire time. I always recommend Systane products to family and friends.

I have had to have four tubes replaced within the past year because the caps are inferior & do not always come off.
