From the moment I received it, I could tell that this was a premium product. It is extremely difficult to get it to actually charge. You should be able to plug in the charger without any worries, but I had this plugged in for more than a few hours and there was still no charge. Very cheap quality.It's a nice idea, just poorly executed.---EDIT:It was nagging at me to be fixed. I had to take it apart. Turns out it was just a loose connection due to a poor soldering job at one end of the battery. Also, if the battery ever dies or doesn't hold a charge, it can be replaced.I did a visual inspection and everything else looked fine. I thought it might have a short somewhere in the circuit, but they covered one end of the inductor lead with plastic or something so it wouldn't make contact with the board and everything else was fine. With power off, the battery read at about 3.5-3.7 volts on my multimeter (it's a 3.7v battery, still plenty of juice left).Ideally a customer shouldn't have to take this apart, so that's why I gave it 1 star. But, the company reached out to me and tried to bribe me with a refund to delete my review. Not too long after I posted my initial review, I noticed they found my Instagram account and requested to follow me. Hope they follow all their customers otherwise that's pretty creepy!TL;DRDidn't charge, loose connection on the battery. Fixable if you have the know-how.

Overall I really like this eyelash curler, but it has been a learning curve figuring out the best way for me to use it. It might be different for everyone based on your lashes and what mascara you use. I tried using it before any mascara, after primer, after the first coat of mascara, and after my mascara was done. What ended up working the best for me is I put on a coat of mascara primer and one coat of mascara, then use the curler, then finish up with a few more coats of mascara. The only complaint is the curler is obviously heating the lashes, therefore basically melting the mascara that you just applied, and that makes the mascara left kind of dry and brittle when you go back to finish up more coats of mascara. So the next few coats of mascara after using the curler don't go on as smoothly as before, but I've just learned to adjust to that and the end result is great. It keeps my lashes looking good all day. I even noticed last night about 9pm that they still looked good and not all stubby like they normally would at the end of the day. I have very fine, thin, light blonde lashes, so I need anything to help. The only other issue is that it doesn't give you much notice when it needs to be charged. It starts flashing and dies in about 10 seconds. So I would suggest just getting in the habit of charging it regularly. Mine lasts almost 2 weeks in between charges. Overall I would recommend this product, I would just recommend trying out different ways to use it and see what works best for each individual person.
