Polar Bundleme vs 7am Enfant 212 Evolution
UPDATED REVIEW - OCTOBER 27, 2016I ordered another one of these for our second child. The new one has a zipper going down the middle, not around the sides, so you can't remove the top part. I'm not sure which one you will receive if you order from Amazon, but just be aware that there is a newer version. PROS: It is easier to get child in and out with only one zipper. It works better on a double stroller (side-by-side) because the zipper is easily accessibly. CONS: You can no longer remove the top part when it is warm and leave the liner on the stroller.Additionally, I would just like to add that the outer pocket on the 7am Enfant 212 Evolution (not the Chevron) is more accessible than the outer pocket on the Polar Bundleme. It is easier to stick a hat/gloves into the 7am Enfant pocket with the wider opening. The Polar Bundleme is a few inches longer than the 7am Enfant 212 Evolution. I needed 2 new stroller blankets for my double stroller, and the Polar Bundleme was too long at its longest length - it was getting caught in the wheels. So for my double stroller (Mountain Buggy Duet), I have the 212 Evolution, but for my single stroller (Uppababy Vista), I have the Polar Bundleme.ORIGINAL REVIEW - DECEMBER 13, 2014I am writing this same review for three items: JJ Cole Polar Bundleme, 7 a.m Enfant Blanket 212 Evolution, and 7 a.m. Enfant Blanket 212 Chevron.I compared many different stroller sacks by reading online reviews and narrowed it down to these 3. I ordered these 3 items to test, and finally selected the JJ Cole Polar Bundleme. I am looking for something new to use with the stroller (Uppababy Vista) during long walks when the temperature is in the 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit range (winter in NY).Overall: I selected the JJ Cole Polar Bundleme because it is larger. The top blanket can also be zipped halfway down or fully removed for less coverage on a warmer day.Size: The Polar Bundleme was wider and longer at its biggest size than the 7 a.m. Enfant blankets at their biggest size. The narrower profile of the 7am Enfant blankets looked a little cleaner on the stroller, but from a practical standpoint I feel like a wider blanket will possibly last longer with a growing child. The 7am Enfant might be cozier for an infant because you can make it very small by removing both bottom pieces.Materials: They both felt very nice. The 7am Enfant blankets felt plusher and thicker than the Polar Bundleme, but the Polar Bundleme still felt very nice and high quality. NOTE: I also looked at the Uppababy BabyGanoosh Footmuff - the fabric just seemed very light and flimsy and not as cushy as the Polar Bundleme or 7am Enfant blankets. I'm sure that the Uppababy footmuff is warm, but I just wanted something more plush and cozy feeling for my daughter. Also, the Uppababy one didn't have a hood.Usability: I think it's a little easier to get a kid in and out of the 7am Enfant blankets because they have a single central zipper vs the two side zippers of then JJ Cole blankets. But I liked that you can completely remove the top part of the JJ Cole blankets if it gets hot, whereas you can only open up the 7am Enfant blankets and push them to the side. I also like that you can zip down the JJ Cole blanket halfway - that way, you can cover just their legs if they already have a coat on top. These were big pluses for me, especially because in the fall and spring the temperature can vary so much from day to day. I liked that you could unzip the hood of the 7am Enfant Blanket 212 Evolution and push it off to the sides. NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT DO THIS WITH THE 7AM ENFANT BLANKET 212 CHEVRON - they look very similar in pictures, but they are not exactly the same. I also liked that you could flip back the hood of the Polar Bundleme and wrap it around the top of the stroller or car seat to keep it out of the way (I have to remove the sunshade on my stroller to do this).Comfort for Child: The 7am Enfant blankets came up a little higher and you could tighten the hood opening, so they might keep the child a little more enclosed. But I felt the Polar Bundleme was more than sufficient for our needs. My daughter seemed fine in it tonight wearing just footie pajamas (no undershirt) and it was 37 degrees outside. The bottom of the Polar Bundleme might be a little annoying to some kids because the extension piece tucks in at the bottom when the blanket is set up on the smaller size. The extension piece decreases the amount of room for the child's feet a bit when it's not being used, but I didn't think that it would be a big deal for my daughter - she still had plenty of room. The 7am Blankets were a little nicer here because the extension piece zips out completely...although then you have to keep track of this random extension piece!Fit on Stroller: They both fit very well on the Uppababy Vista. As I said above, the narrower 7am Enfant blankets looked a little cleaner. I liked the straps that attached the Polar Bundleme better, however. The Polar Bundleme had a strap that goes around the entire back of the stroller to secure the top part of the blanket so the hood doesn't slide down. The 7am Enfant blankets had two loops that go around the side bars of the stroller - but on the Uppababy Vista there is material in the way, so you can't really use these loops. It felt like the Polar Bundleme wouldn't slide down as much as the 7am Enfant blankets on the Uppababy Vista. I liked the nonskid backing of the 7am Enfant blankets.Colors: The 212 Chevron in pink/purple was super cute, but the neon pink clashed with my darker pink stroller color. It was also too much going on with the pink and black stroller. I liked the matte black color of the Polar Bundleme better than the shiny black color of the 212 Evolution with my stroller (I got it in metallic silver). The 212 Evolution is shown in a matte black color on the 7am Enfant website, but it seemed to be out of stock everywhere I looked. I could only find matte black with a gray hood, which looked kind of weird to me. NOTE: I have seen some images online of a black and pink 212 Chevron, but couldn't find it anywhere to purchase. I contacted 7am Enfant and they said that this color never actually went into production, so it isn't available.Price: The Polar Bundleme ($109) was significantly less expensive than the 7am Enfant blankets ($189).

Item doesn’t match description
The one I got is different from the web description and has one zipper in the middle instead of two on the sides. The top can’t be removed nor can the front cover piece roll down as shown in the pictures and the video. The zipper in the center keeps poking at my little one’s face. The material doesn’t feel high quality either. Ordered a replacement with the hope that this one was just a mistake. Have not received the replacement yet but just be aware that you may get one that’s not what you expected.

Does the job but poor quality for price
The polar bundleme is fantastic to keep my baby warm, so for that I give it stars. I did find it wide and bulky, so I have to clamp it with a large peg to keep my baby from getting breeze inside. That’s liveable, since I know it’s also meant for toddlers so they made it big. Here’s the bad part, I washed it for the first time recently according to the labels, and it tore 5 inches across the inside. For $120, you would expect the quality to be better. Unfortunately there’s no warranty. So I am left mending it myself. No biggie normally, but for the price? Yes it’s a big deal. Especially when it’s meant to last for a few years as my baby grows. At this rate, it won’t last one winter.

Wasn't compatible with my Bob.
Liked that this is expandable. My son always felt really warm when I took him out so that's the only way I can assume that it kept him warm. The negatives:It's a bit difficult to attach to my Bob. I couldn't and still can't figure out how to "fit" this onto the stroller. It doesn't attach to the back padding very well. The top of the Bundleme does not cover his head. It's way too low. I figured I could fix this by pulling the Bundleme higher and adjust the shoulder straps on the stroller to hold it in place but it didn't work. Maybe it's me but, like I said, I just couldn't figured this thing out. Maybe this isn't compatible with a Bob.

Super cozy/warm for chilly walks
This fits great into our BOB jogging stroller and is so warm and cozy, our little one falls asleep in it every time we take him out for walks. The stroller straps come through nicely (velcro holds it all in place). We also used this as a sleeping bag on a chilly camping trip and I think he was the warmest of us all. The head section fits nicely over his forehead. I only have to add a hat and some booties to take him out on walks in the cold.

This keeps my child super warm. I think the zippers get stuck a bit more than they should and the gap in between the zippers towards the feet is odd. I also find that the top part, which in the photos looks like it goes over the child's head, doesn't actually work out that way in real life, at least with the type of stroller that I have (city mini gt).

Awesome
This is one of the best baby purchases I've made. We live in Northern Illinois and this makes trips outside easy. Even to and from the car into stores is easier. Installs in our regular stroller (GB Evoq) and jogging stroller (BOB Flex Revolution) easily. You'll love it.

find something else
i have to put a scarf or blanket inside so the wind doesn't come in. there's no way to cinch it closed... i wouldn't recommend buying this, there must be other things out there that would keep your child warmer. i have to cover his feet as well, the air comes in the bottom where the zipper is. he generally feels very cold after a walk, unless i pile him with blankets inside.

Warm but need extra blanket for Canadian winters
Very practical as it can last up until child is 4 yrs (depending on how tall your child is of course). The downside is that there is a big gaping whole around the neck area- so you must put a blanket inside it or put your child in a warm jacket/snowsuit so their chest/neck area stays warm. I recommend having an extra warm blanket anyway if you live in Canada like I do. All in all, I am happy with it!

It slips off the stroller, it does have two velcro's in the back to hold it but they are thin straps, not thick enough to hold a 8 month baby down. The face cover area is open, it doesn't have a tightening-pull on string to cover childs neck area or ears. The whole purpose to not use blankets in the stroller, but I have to and that's dissapointing. Only good thing about it is that the leg room extends for a bigger child..

Great fit, child loves it
Great fit, child loves it. Very warm. The part where the head goes is awkward. The zippers could be smoother. If the zipper comes off, it is very difficult to get back on.

Buy literally anything else.
Wish I bought something else. Difficult to install in stroller. Zipper is constantly catching. Already breaking. Wish I could get a refund but it’s too far gone as I bought it early for when it would get cold.

Easily attached to my stroller (britax b-agile) and fit snuggly
Easily attached to my stroller (britax b-agile) and fit snuggly. Baby looked cozy except I don't find the hood part particularly well-fitting.
