TESTING WITH A MULTIMETER? READ....
Are you trying to TEST these new diodes....with a DVM? Take note that the forward voltage drop of these high voltage type diodes starts at around 5 volts and many spec'd at 11 to 14 volts. YOUR METER PROBABLY USES A LOWER VOLTAGE in the diode test so IT WON'T READ THESE properly. Take two 9 volt batteries,a 1 k resistor and a general purpose LED and hook all in series with the diode under test.
