I wanted an item that was simple & not a thing I had to erect & stick on my dash. My goal was to have something to put my iPhone 5 in & on the dash it while using the GPS & also a place to hold the phone on the seat next to me. I have had those dash mounts before & you have to wrestle with it if you need to respond to a call - no thanks!This product is rubber & not hard plastic which is more appealing for longevity & it is dirt cheap. They say you get what you pay for but in this case "they" are wrong, this is a steal. It is made in China but I do not care, it suits my needs perfectly. Lastly, their customer service follow-up was excellent & they really cared about my satisfaction - imagine that for such an inexpensive item. Would I recommend it? Yes, without any reservation.

Lays best on a flat surface in your vehicle. I used on my dash. Self adheres, so I recommend knowing exactly where you want it, because it is kind of hard to peel up.

I use a Nexus 5X with a thin cover. Does the job for me! It is quite tacky, but doesn't seem damaging to my car or phone. I did have to set it back a few inches on the dashboard to keep the phone from falling out when I break (due to the direct upward angle). But I can see the phone fine and it doesn't slip now, price is right for the job!

Omg do not buy this! Its TRASH !!!I bought this same kind of phone holder from groupon for my husband and that one was good product. This one is the copy of the original but they made wrong one!How come bottom and top both sides are sticky? They used wrong material! They made with sticky material for all part. That material supposed to add to bottom part only but they made with that sticky material for whole part so its jus a one sticky stuff can not even put my phone.

The product took a long time to arrive. I didn't know it was shipped from China. The product is you see what you get in the picture. The bottom of the product is smooth and not soft gel like. So the pad doesn't stick to the dashboard. The tittle is missed leading. The pad stays fine on the dashboard if you travelling on a smooth or regular road, but if you take a hard turn the pad will fly across the dashboard. The groove doesn't fit the phone well, too big for my S4 phone. This is not good for a dash mount for phone. It's better to go with the regular suction dash mount. Not sure how this pad compare to another domestic seller of the same pad that claim to be sticky on the bottom.

This is a reasonable cell phone holder for you car. It holds the iPhone easily, but doubt it would hold the newer mega phones (i.e. Samsung Note, etc.). It does work, but I was expecting something very "sticky" that would hold onto the dash without sliding around. This one is just "OK" in that regard. I tried it in a couple of cars and unless you have a pretty flat area it's going to end up sliding around, and maybe off the dash onto the floor. I wouldn't buy it again, but since I have it, I find it useful. I'll keep looking.

Great product. Works really well to keep your phone on the dash. I use with navigation - which is perfect. Delivery was quick as well.

Great little item. I use it on my desk to hold my phone as I use it for internet and it needs to point in a certain direction. This works great for me.
