Great product for shiny wood projects.
This is a great coat for wooden objects. I make wooden wavy flags and this makes them look amazing. Make sure you use a fine brush and use a thick first coat. It will sit and all the brush marks will level out. Do not go back over the spots for the best first coat results. It took me several flags to get the discipline to hold back on second and third brush strokes. Good coverage and dries clear.

Used with a non tinted House Paint for Acrylic Paint Pour
Super happy with quality of it…the gloss coverage made the bloom look stunning! It is still drying, but no cracks yet 😀🤞was a great value compared to store costs in town. Loved the quick delivery!

Worth a try
Either put on a thick coat or be prepared to put on several thin coats. Make your brush strokes the length of your.project or it will show where you stopped and started again. Took me several coats to get it right but finished project was worth it. Good luck.

Perfect for Paint Pouring Blooms – Smooth, Glossy, and Reliable
I purchased Varathane Triple Thick Polyurethane as part of my bloom recipe for acrylic paint pouring, and it has worked exceptionally well! If you’re into fluid art and Dutch pours, this is an excellent choice for cell creation, smooth flow, and a durable finish.✅ Pros for Paint Pouring:✔ Perfect Bloom Recipe Additive – Helps create lacing and cells when mixed properly.✔ Smooth, Glossy Finish – Enhances the vibrancy of colors and adds a professional shine.✔ Consistent Flow & Leveling – Allows paint to move effortlessly without breaking.✔ Non-Yellowing – Keeps whites and lighter colors true over time.⚠️ Things to Consider:⚠ Mixing Ratios Matter – Be precise when adding this to your pouring medium for optimal results.⚠ Drying Time – May require extended drying/curing time, depending on humidity and layer thickness.⚠ Ventilation Needed – Has a noticeable odor when wet, so proper airflow is recommended.💡 Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a polyurethane that works well in bloom recipes, this is an excellent choice! It helps create stunning lacing, cells, and smooth finishes in acrylic pouring projects. Highly recommended for fluid artists who want professional-quality results.🔹 Would I Use It Again? Absolutely! This is now a staple in my paint pouring supplies

Self-leveling? Hardly!
Water soluble polyurethane is nice; I’ve used both, and the finished product is very similar. The picture is 5 minutes after applying, so it’s still wet and opaque, but it dries clear. But this triple thick version is not self-leveling, and I can’t get it smooth, at least not with a brush. Maybe with a spray gun, but they recommend using a brush.(Like they said it is self-leveling.)
