I had installed a swing in my grand daughter's basement a couple of years ago. She uses this all the time, especially during winter. I knew the hangers, hooks and rope were high-capacity and very solid. However, I always feared that the "weak" link was the imported plastic swing seats. I decided to buy a couple of these and install them in my own basement -- for guests, of course -- and plan for growing grand kids and maybe the occasional adult user! I just finished the job and tested (200 lbs) them for myself. Just great! I can't and probably won't be able to speak to how well they might stand up in the weather elements, but these solid wood seats with solid steel hardware should stand the test of time. Why spend $30 for cheap plastic seats when for about 50% more money you could have these seats that can be passed on to the next generation! The finish is so nice, that it will make some of your home furniture looks ragged! I guess if I was to install these swings outside, I would annually apply something like 303 protectant (UV, sealer) to maintain the nice factory finish and prevent any future exposure deterioration.

My daughter loves to swing but the last seat that I bought here broke her arm when it collapsed during mid-swing. I bought this one as it has metal bands underneath that greatly added to the integrity of the design. Examine any swing you plan to get to see if the hardware will hold up. Many of the swings use cheap hardware that will break and cause injury. The $ you save on the cheap swing will be spent at the doctors office.

The seats’ size almost for child or small people, and the height of the lines( hanger ) need to be longer than usual …

This is just as was promised, it came fully put together and packaged so nothing was damaged. Really like the sturdiness of the swing and it’s a bit wider than our other rubber ones. It’s nice for adults because it doesn’t pull hard on your hips like the rubber ones. Also has the rubber cushion strips on the seat which are great for little kids because it acts like non slip on the seat. The swing seats came completely ready to hang which we did, no tools required.I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I bought 2 of these. The first one is in process of being returned. It cracked the whole way through down the center. I decided to keep the 2nd one and now the return window is passed by a couple days. The seat is so slippery that my grandson slid right off and the swing smacked him right in the head. It's definitely hard for little kids to stay on. It's like a well waxed floor. I wished I would have returned them both.
