FITEC SS1000 Super Spreader Cast Net, Clear, 8' Radius, 3/8" mesh, 1 Lb WTS (10880)

The case was broken when we got it today and the picture shows that it's in a bucket not some cheap broken carrying thing that's clearly not durable enough for this net 😡😡. It's been weeks since we purchased this product and no response on what ya'll will do about it.

Nice heavy cast net. Not the priciest or best, probably, but for my purposes, it works as well as I can throw it. Good quick sink rate, and well made. If you're shrimping, probably add duct tape to the outer edge to slow down the sink rate. Nice neoprene wrist strap, and floating poly retaining rope. Get a five gallon bucket to store it in (and use to empty fish out of it) because it's not fitting back in it's box unless you're an engineer or a magician.

I had been looking for quite awhile for a good castnet at a reasonable price and this would be it !! I have had it for almost 2 years now and not a single complaint, with the exception I should have gotten a smaller one LOL !! I'm getting a bit older and not the net caster I used to be !! Cheap net. Basic entry level. Weights are plastic. Not real lead. Sinks slow. Only 1lb per ft. Horn is small and cheap plastic. Opens easily and easy to throw because it's so light. But not the net for me.

It's a great cast net if you know how to cast. Caught about 15 live bait (small shad) on it in one cast - probably just a lucky hit. Would definitely buy again.

6 foot net is great.

Great net. I didn't get to catch anything with it because I don't use a casting net often, and I lost it while using it...It caught on a rock and ripped apart when I was trying to pull it out of the tangles (Which is pretty obvious, but it was the only way to try to save it.) It sinks fast, and if you get a good cast, it spreads really nice covering a lot of area. Perfect for catching bait fish (I use it for shad). It was pretty hard for me to cast considering the size of the net compared to me (7 feet net compared to 5'9 me). So if you're new to net casting (like I am) try to buy something closer to your height.

this product is well made and I have not mastered the throwing of net, mainly because of weather since purchase. I think is a good product and hope to master same
