I have been a Baxter fab way back since 2014. I remember i first tried a sample in my Birchbox, and from then on, I am a brand enthusiast for them. I have tried and continue to use a number of their products. The face scrub is a staple. I don’t have a skincare routine (I use Irish Spring most nights) but this stuff is my go-to post shave. The exfoliation material inside is really heavy duty (none of that dainty little exfoliation) and it really does help prevent shave afterburn. I use it on my nose and forehead, and this combined with Irish Spring prevents any acne. It doesn’t have a smell, and 2 peas is all you need to scrub your whole face. I place a little bit into the palm of my hand, and then rub my hands together and rub into my face vigorously. It kind of hurts a bit, but it feels good after and does the job.

Bought this for my husband for stocking stuffer. He loves this scrub. It smells great, works well, I’m glad we found a face scrub he likes and will use. It’s gentle on the skin but abrasive enough to get it smooth. Love Baxter products. He says it smells like cherry walnut. Wish it didn’t sell out so much or was expensive. It works well, high quality scrub for men.

This is a really nice scrub. Smells great, makes your skin feel good and doesn't irritate. The drawback is that it's way too expensive for the amount you get.

I liked it, it worked well for me

used to use nivea for men scrub, but it was lacking in actually scrubs to take care of my rough face since ingrown hair is a common problem for me. this really uses high quality stuff to give your face and beard an amazing scrub so it's great for preshave or whenever since it will leave your skin feeling awesomely smooth. price is right and a little goes a very long way so i intend to have this last me for half a year. just make sure you follow up with a toner/astringent. baxter has a good one. highly recommended!

I searched for a long time to find a facial scrub that worked well on skin with stubble and didn't leave an after scent. A friend recommended Baxter of California and I've been hooked ever since. First off, if you have sensitive skin I don't think this product would be right for you. At times it can feel like rubbing sand mixed with shards of glass all over your face. However, that may be what makes it so effective. After using it I feel like I've taken not only the dead skin off, but probably a few extra layers as well. This is great if you have a beard or stubble since other facial scrubs don't seem to penetrate beneath the hairs. It leaves your face feeling refreshed and skin feeling smooth. It also seems to help with in grown hairs after shaving. I would recommend using it only once or twice a week. More than that and you run the risk of scrubbing your face off. You would also be wasting a very expensive product. At $17 its not cheap, but in this case a little goes a long way. I use a pea drop sized amount once a week in the shower. It also pairs well with Baxter of California face wash to help cleanse the skin you just scraped clean. I would highly recommend this product.

I have combination skin. I use this product every few days to exfoliate and get rid of the dead skin cells. The scrubbers are the perfect size for me as they do a great job of scrubbing. After cleansing, Only a small dollop is needed and you work it into your face in a circular motion. Let it sit for a bit and wash. My skin is left feeling soft and refreshed. This is perfect to use before shaving to prepare your skin for that. This lasts a good 6 months with occasional use. Highly recommended.

I spent the last decade going between this facial scrub, the Jack Black and Khiels version. Love the larger grit and smell. However I realized it just doesn’t work as well as the others. If I run my nail across my chin afterwards I alway get a bunch of skin. While the others I get a fraction. Jack black the best Mens exfoliated IMO.
