And open it infront of him/her to verify your order is all there.** There has a mishap with my first order I received an empty tube. I contacted amazon and they shipped me a replacement three days later. However the replacement was missing the hardware. Nevertheless I had made my own frame and stapled it to the wood. I did not need the hardware to begin with. I did realize how easy the screen slips out of the shipping tube it comes with. The replacement was not packaged well just like the first. It comes in a long tube with the ends taped. The manufacturer should consider adding end caps to the tube followed by lots of tape.Installation was tedious the material is very thin and you can easily damage it if you poke your nails through the back when stapling. Be careful and take your time. Make sure the surface you lay this on is clean and perfectly flat.At night the screen does have a light "oily" (for lack of a better word) look to it. Almost like little sparkles. I can't quite explain it. It does not bother me as its all over the screen and not concentrated specifically but Im the only one that notices in my household anyway. First off the Fabric is great.. this and stretchy and good quality, however a few things ti be aware of while ordering and building the screen.1. Does not come with fabric tape for blacking out the edges of screen ( photos misleading as they show the tape) will have to order and also the tape had a 2 week delivery even for prime members to CA.2. The method they show for building the frame is not great, the zip tie idea in the video seemed great but real time application it took a good 2-3 hours .. frame itself is easy, but stretching the fabric with zip ties is not. Its differcult to get a full stretch which is very important for a pleasing viewing experience. I ended up doing it the old fashion way I did my old screen the last time I owed a projector and just stapled it like you would prep a canvas board for art. Starting in the center and lay the first stretch and work your way out stretching and staple as you go working outwards to each edge.Other than that the screen is bright and contrast and colors are good,

Love the screenMost of us are here as we cannot afford the expensive ALR but do want to use the projector in daylight. It took me a month to get the screen right simply because it takes patience. I am sharing steps on how I got perfect result:1. As per your projector get the exact dimension of image you want on screen by projecting on wall. Get the length and height.2. But pine wood timber which 1.5 inch wide. Home depot can cut it as per your calculation. Get "L" and "T" metal joints and wood screws.3. Buy velcro tape from Amazon that has sticky tape on back. Photo Frame hanging brackets that have 2 to inch width4. Buy electric stapler with 1 box of pins.Get Home:1. Build frame.2. Stick velcro and also staple it.3. Open the screen and spread on "Vacuumed" carpet.4. Put the frame over the screen. Now stick velcro to the film such that it will overlap with velcro on frame5. Fit the screen on frame by sticking velcro. Start from middle. Try to reduce wrinkles. You will not get to "Zero" wrinkles yet.6. Cut the extra screen material.7. Stanup the screen and rest it on wall.8. Turn up the AC to 90 F. In about an hour you will notice that the screen has loosened up more.9. Now remove the velcro again and reattach with best possible stretch.10. Return to normal temperature you like at home.11. Wallah ! you have perfectly flat surface.12. Using stud finder, laser level and photo frame hanger. Install the screen.PS: In my case, my wife helped me a lot in all the above stages. Kids were very patient.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this on Black Friday and just got around to installing it. Those complaining about wrinkles are not stretching the material correctly. You must work in a way slowly stretching opposite of where you just stretched slowly making your way across the screens length. This leaves 0 wrinkles. The material is thick and of quality. The Shipping method uses a rigid tube in a box that protects the material. My box was crushed but the tube was fine. My tube did not have caps but the material was not damaged.As others have said it rejects so much light to the point your image will become washed out. The dark scenes become almost unwatchable. Where I once had bright vivid colors with my white screen are now muted tones. Before you say you need to manage the incoming light in the room, there are blinds and curtains. This is for a living room not a theatre. If It was needed to manage the incoming light to that extent that would defeat the purpose of the material. I wanted this as an upgrade and that is not what I ended up with. I will be returning to my white screen.Attached are images with a lighted normal living room with a darkened room.
