Don’t trust the Dealership
The dealership told me it would cost $600 to replace this part on my car, that I think they broke when I had the car in for service. I looked on Amazon and replaced it for less than $10. Perfect part and fit. Never trusting the dealership .. tried to rip me off!!

Perfect fit, saved me hundreds
These little silver pieces have popped off my BMW for the past year and I keep sticking them back in. Lost one called the dealer you have to buy an entire unit including vents etc. Found these on Amazon and the fit was absolutely perfect it looks brand new. One tip when you slide it in and it will resist when you get to a certain point keep pushing very slowly and it fits nice and tight and snug as if it were OEM.

Difficult to fit but eventually got it to work
I have a 2018 X5 and this fits, but it wasn’t easy. I also recommending taping off the vent to avoid it falling down the vent during install
