Full disclosure: I generally buy repair items like this one step ahead of needing them, which could be a lengthy interval. So, this is actually a review is of the SoulWit ear pads that I bought a couple of years ago. These ear pads were far easier to install than the Bose OEM earpads that I had purchased previously with the perk of being significantly less expensive than Bose. (I swear that Bose assemblers must be double-jointed to install their ear pads efficiently.) This current purchase, which I was asked to review, was a result of having to actually install the aforementioned, previously purchased SoulWit set. Assuming that SoulWit is selling the same quality product as they were a couple of years ago, I would definitely recommend SoulWit ear pads. I was so impressed with the product quality, ease of installing and price that it was easy for me to buy them again (as my future replacement). Fingers crossed.

I’ve had my Bose OE2 for quite a number of years they work seamlessly. But if not used for over six months, the ear pads degrade. The replacement ear pad cushions by SOULWIT are very similar to the originals and actually feel a little softer. They maintain the direction of the audio output into the center of the ear with very little audio bleed. Good replacements for the cost.

This product was made in China, and it came with instructions. At first, I struggled to place them on. I watched someone from a YouTube video and was able to change the replacement ear pads. With all the tagging and pulling, I was sure it will rip. Surprisingly, the material is very sturdy and comfortable. It actually looked so much better than the original cover. I highly recommend this product.

These pads not only cost less than the Bose pads, they are better constructed and sound as good, if not better than the fall apart after a year pads that Bose sells. A word of caution,when you change ear pads to those of different materials than the original, you also will change the sound signature. You may like it better or not but it will be different. I bought these for my Soundlinks, not exactly audiophile headphones and they work great.

I used these ear pads to replace my original Bose OE2 ear pads. They are a little bit difficult to install but are a great replacement. Also, before installing on Bose OE2 make sure you remove the plastic ring on the OE2 that remains after removing the old pads. Search in YouTube for instructions.
