EasyGO Sun Shade Instant Pop Up Family Beach Umbrella Tent & Shelter Shack

In all fairness I haven't actually USED this tent yet, but I was SO excited when I received it that I popped it up in my living room as soon as it was delivered! (Against the recommendation of lots of reviewers who said to try it outdoors in case you can't get it to fold back up... I guess I had faith in my capabilities! 😉)First off, the tent comes in a super convenient carrying case with a handle and weighs next to nothing! Super easy to transport. It also comes with stakes and twine/ rope for securing to the ground.Second, this thing seriously assembles itself. All you do is kinda toss it in the air and it "pops up" all on its own. Awesome!It's definitely large enough for two average sized adults to sit in comfortably. Not tall enough to stand but that doesn't bother me at all. Little ones could stand and play inside easily.It doesn't have a bottom which is great. If using at the beach you can sit inside and feel the sand in your toes, or the kids can play with sand toys while shaded underneath. You can always lay a blanket or towel down if you choose.It's open on the front and has a vertical zipper up the back that you can open if you choose. It also has mesh windows on the sides which you can open or close.Last but not least... It is NOT difficult to fold up. Contrary to so many of the reviews, I read the instructions (which are printed clearly on the carrying case) and step by step folded it up on my first try in 2-3 minutes! I'd imagine it gets easier and easier the more you do it.This tent was exactly what I hoped it would be and am so happy with this purchase! I look forward to using it all year long!

Out of the package this product is very easy to use and setup. The pockets on the side can be used to hold sand and prevent it from blowing away. Be mindful of the wind when setting up. The biggest issue with this product is folding it back into the carrying case. Don't attempt without watching a youtube video explanation. You will bend the metal permanently and it will never be quite the same again. Also the zipper on the carrying case is weak and on the first unzip it backed out of the starting position and I had to reset it.

This is the second one of these we've bought. Got the first one seven years ago, the first time I took my infant son to the beach. It worked great -- what I like about it, it's the only one on the market with no floor, so you can pop it over your little guy or gal who's digging in the sand, and keep them shaded. It's big enough for a parent and two kids, or three kids while mom sits outside in a chair. My kids have taken many naps under the pop-up over the years. It will collapse in a strong wind, but not until well after all the beach umbrellas have blown away -- it has to be pretty uncomfortably breezy.So our first pop up lasted until last year, when my husband tried to close it and warped the wires that hold it up. (You do have to spend about three minutes reading the directions to close the pop up. They are printed right on the bag it goes in. Three minutes was apparently more than DH had to spare.) I just bought this replacement. It's basically the same, although I was disappointed that the very FIRST time I pulled down the zipper to close the flaps in the back, it came right off in my hand! So now it doesn't have a functional back panel. That's really irritating and a shame. But it's still my pick among all the pop up shades for the digging in the sand factor.

The first one we received had been put together wrong so that we had no way to keep the window flaps open, Amazon was very nice about shipping us another one overnight ( as we where leaving for vacation in 2 days)... When the second Pop Up came the zipper on the bag was was broke and also the zipper on the back wall ,plus a small rip on the side wall ... The Tent itself was hard to close and the top collapsed flat over and over till we put it away... I had liked that this one had no floor to it so my granddaughters could play with the sand and be protected from the sun, well that didn't happen,no one could sit under it with the top falling in all the time... I saw a few different ones on the beach and will be looking to get a different kind and brand... amazon took care of the refunds and returns so that went smooth...

Liked the size and style. It was big enough for our family of 4. Very easy set up. Taking it down was a challenge but can be done. With practice it probably would be fine. Unfortunately, the metal pole ripped right through the fabric on the second attempt to take it down. This is not a durable product.

Haven't put it to the test yet, but seems to be of great construction. Pops out easily and is a very nice fit for a family of 3. Can't wait to give it a try.Update:I have used this tent three times now on the Beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. I love that it is very compact when folded down and easy to transport on the back of my kayak. The tent is very easy to pop out. Whenever you are on a beach, there is gonna be some sort of breeze, so the tent must be staked. The metal stakes that come with it, just slide right out of the sand. Salt water is very rough on metals, and I have noticed after minimal uses that the metal structure inside of the tent fabric has turned the fabric orange/rust colored. This is purely cosmetic at this point. It takes a little practice/finagling to get the tent folded back into a circle, but with practice this should be a cinch. Overall, I am pleased to have an easy to carry, easy to assemble tent that protects me from the sun, while allowing me views on all sides to keep an eye on my small child. I would purchase again!

Great product. I routinely ride my bike to the beach to play guitar. I needed something light weight and easy to set up. This is just the ticket! Super easy, roomy, and I love the windows. The zipper in the back ensures you can set up with a cool breeze blowing through. I actually bought another one a week later, because my son loves popping it up in the house for "Fort Night" Slumber Parties!!! Great Price, Great Product.
