It's a good replacement, and it does its job. The only issue I have is that it the base is a tiny bit off, and it comes unscrewed easily. All in all, it works you just have to really pay attention to it while it's blending, and when you're removing it from the base.

Update: because the bottom was etched and not smooth, the blender jar chipped at the bottom and now has a crack going up the side. I have not dropped it and really have only used it a handful of times. I wouldn’t recommend this product. Pay more for the Oster brand. It fits my blender and works fine, but you get what you pay for. The quality isn’t nearly as high as my Oster glass container. The glass in the bottom has an etched feel instead of being buffed smooth like the rest of the blend. The plastic joining in the lid has seams that aren’t as clean as the original blender jar. It’s fine and I’m not sure I’d pay more for the actual Oster brand replacement, but the quality isn’t as good.

Nice quality

The jar broke after less than four months of use! A large crack down the side all of a sudden while making soup and wanting to blend hot -- not boiling -- liquid and vegetables. Clearly the jar is not heat-resistant at all. Also, as some other reviews have mentioned, I find it cheaply made with a ground edge at the bottom. This is very disappointing.

Good to replace the old glass cup. I guess it is better than buy a new blender, instead the price is not to low.
