Absolutly amazing. I bought this as a gift for my husband. Beautiful, awesome record player…. It sounds great and it's a joy to play records on this device.

Upgraded to the DP450usb from the 200usb. Upgrade is certainly true. Assembly is straight forward. The turntable arm and the cartridge have a solid feel, with straightforward installation. Digital transfer is an improvement from the 200 model, with MP3 and WAV options. There is also less of a delay when you press record. The cover is a more ergonomic design, with optional support stand.I would definitely recommend the Denon DP450USB turntable.

I bought this to play 78s, although it turns out to be excellent for vinyl too. I couldn't find a 78 stylus for the cartridge that's supplied, so I bought an Audio-Technica unit in its own headshell which was worth the extra expense as swapping headshells is a more robust operation than fiddling about with styli.It's very easy to set up and use. My only reservation concerns the dust cover, which is an eye-catching mistake. It doesn't protect discs from dust when they're playing, and it doesn't protect the deck when in place as dust drifts in. I'm on the lookout for a conventional perspex box that will fit.But I'm pleased with the results and would still recommend this turntable if you need to spin 78s in this price bracket.
