I think this is great intro to mate tea if you don’t want to spend too much money. The ceramic cup is the perfect size for solo sipping or sharing with a friend - it’s not too big so you don’t need a huge amount of mate per cup.Included is the bombilla (straw) which is sturdy, with built with a strainer that actually works, no clogs, just smooth every time.For the price, it feels like a steal.

Really happy, it's worth the money just for the flask so to get a mate and bombilla as well is fantastic

This gourd has served me well for the past month and some. It feels traditional enough and holds a good amount of mate to last roughly around 5 - 6 hours depending on how many refills you top up. Can't fault it, I'd recommend!

the water does not flow smoothly, I end up removing the red top part in order to be able to pour. The mate mug heats up very much, cannot hold it comfortably. In the end I don't use these, they are not very good in my opinion.

The cup and thermos are nice and work well, but a bombilla was not provided despite being in the listing and pictures.

Brilliant mate ceramic ground, may get a little hot if you keep on drinking for a long time, but other than that, I'm really pleased with shape, colour and quality. It holds about 400ml of water (without mate in) and if you don't like the taste of a natural ground but want to enjoy pure mate taste in a great enclosure, you should buy the cup!
