DSJUGGLING 80mm Clear Acrylic Contact Juggling Balls for Beginners & Single Ball Tricks - 3.14" Transparent

I've just started learning to contact juggle and this is the first juggling ball I've tried. It is made of a very high quality plastic, most people have asked me if it's glass, and they don't believe me when I say it's acrylic. I've dropped it many times and it hasn't broken or even cracked. For learning tricks this has just the right density, not too light nor too heavy. As for defects, there is about two tiny specks of dust on the inside of the sphere, but they won't even show up on a camera. Overall it was very easy to learn with and I will buy another one!

...and this ball seems to be a perfect size and weight for me. Much more stable than lacrosse or tennis balls...I've actually improved my contact juggling since I got this.

The ball is good quality, well polished, but it's acrylic. That means don't drop it on the floor or hit the edges of tables or toes. It does scratch and scuff. If you are just starting out, I found this was easier than the 100mm ball, because I needed to stretch my hands out and work on flexibility. This ball is lighter and easier to do that with. It is harder to body roll because it is lighter, but you have to start somewhere, and this is less expensive to start with.

During this pandemic I found myself with a lot of time on my hands. So I decided to teach myself a new skill. I decided on contact juggling. I was inspired my the movie Labyrinth that featured David Bowie, whose character performed a few moments of contact juggling during the movie. I was mesmerized. Later I found out that the juggling was actually done by a talented man named Michael Mochen. So now with time on my hands I purchased this ball so that I could learn. There are some great videos on the web that helped me get started. This ball is made of acrylic plastic and is very beautiful to look at. It feels heavy in the hand so it is great for contact juggling. For beginners it is good but you must be careful. Dropping this ball on a hard surface will mar it. It is acrylic after all. So beginners should practice over a rug or grass. It is a decent value for the money. I am enjoying my practice very much.

Great weight and size, especially for a beginner. Looks just like the one from Labyrinth (but a bit bigger I think). Crystal clear.

Beautiful piece, looks just as clear as expected. It did take nearly three months to arrive, however.
