I bought these for our two year old daughter and they have been a huge hit. I'm impressed by the quality-we don't have any other magnetic shapes to compare these to but I can't imagine a way to make them better than these. This set included a nice variety of shapes (my daughter especially loves the window and door ones) that can be used in many ways. It came with a good number of pieces for one kid and I think adding another set would make it even more fun, especially when playing with other kids. Our daughter enjoys stacking them up or making a cube and putting little things inside-it is a great way to occupy her at a restaurant. Our much older neighbors came over to play and immediately grabbed these and started building so I can tell this is something she will use for years to come. This set would be perfect to give as a gift. I highly recommend this product for kids of many ages. It is a great beginning set and we will definitely be ordering more!

I am a preschool teacher and my students love these. I was gifted with a big box of Shape Mags a while back and wanted to expand on our collection. Considering I can never put them away because they are always being played with is huge. I do not have a single toy in my classroom that is as well loved as Shape Mags. And, considering they are fought over by 14 3 year olds on the daily, I am happy to report that my original set has held up for over a year now. Which is why I am back, buying an expansion pack. Depending on the size my my class this coming year, I may be back for more.I find that Shape Mags are just as good, if not better, than the other magnetic blocks available out there. They are a good size, have a strong magnetic hold and can withstand being hurdled across the room by a frustrated mini engineer. This specific set had good pieces for adding to a larger set. Not that you can't build some pretty cool stuff with just this set alone, it just helps to have more so you can go bigger.And yes, I do find myself playing with them quite often. And I am also floored by the thinking process that my students use when building with these. They seem pretty straight forward, but I am pleasantly surprised by the different ways they explore with them. Shape Mags are a must have for any age.

We purchased this recently for my toddler son's birthday. He loves it! Features I, as a mom, appreciate:--The box it comes in can easily be used for regular storage. Nice job on packaging, guys!--The pieces are completely covered in plastic for safety, but that also means they can be wiped off easily in the event of a mess.--Lots of different designs are attainable with this basic starter set of pieces.--The pieces are a perfect size even for my toddler's fingers to wrangle.--These days, it's hard to find toys for toddlers that are creative and don't make lots of noise or have flashing lights. LOVE how this is a building toy that can be taken with us anywhere we go, even church or music lessons, to keep him busy. :)Overall, love this product. Looking forward to seeing all the ways he plays with it as he continues to get older. Great job!

I ordered these for my daycare, and it is easily some of the best money I've ever spent! I've been wanting some of the name brand magnetic tiles, but the cost was prohibitive. When I saw the cost of these, I figured they were worth a shot.These have been played with so much since I ordered the first set, that I ordered a second set. These have been played with continuously and don't show any wear at all, and are large enough for even the littles at the daycare to play with. The older, school age children, who are sometimes hard to occupy, love these as well. My only regret is that I don't have the budget to buy a much larger set- if I did, I definitely would. Rarely do I come across a toy that is so universally loved by all ages, and continues to be a toy everyone clamors to have a turn at. Great toy, great price, very sturdy!

These are a lot of fun. Of our children this set seems best suited for our 4 yr old. Though the 2 and 5 yr old do like them. We may need more to keep the 5 yr olds attention. They have had them for 2 1/2 months and none of them are broken. There are a few small cracks in the plastic but nothing significant. The magnets aren't extremely strong but I've never had others to compare them to and they work for most building.

I bought this set for my almost 3 yr old grandson. Today we played with the magnetic shapes for 2 solid hours with only a snack break. He made spaceships and houses along with many other shapes. He even began to enjoy watching how the magnets worked. He then proceeded to tell me where the magnets are located and showed me how he could pick up another magnet without actually touching the shape. He simply places a shape near another & it instantly attaches itself. There are 5 different colors, 3 different triangle sizes & many squares. This is a great beginners set and I can see he will need more accessories & shapes in the future. I am so impressed, I am purchasing another set for my granddaughter who also will be 3. Save yourself some money and purchase this brand/set instead of the more expensive ones available on Amazon.
