Beautiful design very comfortable the perfect amount of storage space and even a zipper pocket
I like it because it is not thick and bulky the leather has a beautiful patina to it It has six card holders, zipper compartment, another storage underneath the zipper and the spot for bills . It sticks up far enough out of your back pocket for easy, retrievability and it’s pretty secure in the back pocket It also has a spot for your drivers license that is easy to get them out of. My previous billfold was a trifold my fossil that I had for 7 1/2 years and it is still just like new. I like the long wallet style much better. I highly recommend it. It has room for a checkbook as well. Is also very comfortable, and will look better the older it gets. I love the Derek, dark brown color Five star rating from me!

I mean, It’s fossil what do you expect?
I’ve had this wallet for long time now zero complaints fossil is a great company. I coincidentally receive a lot of compliments regarding the wallet. Which is funny since most people want to move towards more modern compact designs. If you don’t want cash in a money clip or bunched up or with a constant fold in all your cash this wallet is great card capacity more than enough. I’ve never had any cards slip out it’s got a coin purse section as well adequate space for storing any buisness cards if needed

A bit short but a beautiful piece
My previous wallet was a Tommy Hilfiger long wallet. This is about an inch shorter than that and so has fewer card slots than the other. This only has 6 while the old one has about 9. I wish they made this a bit longer with about a couple of card slots more. Paper bills also barely fit when stacked due to the short length. The materials are great though. Even at its SRP, this still would be a good buy. Beautiful wallet really. The packaging wasn't great though. It was just put inside an Amazon envelope with no other protection, whatsoever. Good thing this comes with its own metal case which protected it from impact. The metal case got dented as shown in the photo. However, I got this at around $41 and so this is very much worth every penny I spent on it.

Even though i love fossil n this wallet. Disappointed that it is small. Thag You have to struggle to put a note inside straight. As I don't like to fold notes.

As of late I became conscious of the volume of my bifold wallet in my pocket, and even though I admit part of this volume was of my own doing by failing to apply a Swedish death cleaning method to my life, I became particularly annoyed when I emptied out all the cards and money and noticed that the wallet still looked thick. It was then that I decided it was a time for a change. I looked at various models and almost bought a leather pop up wallet, but three things deterred me from finalizing the purchase: 1. High price, not even including the extra freight charges to Canada; 2. I did not like any of the options these types of wallets offered for storing bills, whether it be a clip on the outside, a money band or some thin piece of foldable plastic; and 3. I started watching YouTube reviews and comments from buyers, and the spring mechanism in these types of wallets did not inspire confidence. Was it worth it spending so much money on a wallet that relied on a small metal spring for its key selling point to work, a component likely to break within 2-3 years according to the comments? After a couple of weeks of searching I eventually gave up, but some days later, when halfheartedly browsing the Amazon page, I decided to look at a Fossil wallet Amazon suggested me. Call me cringe if you must, but I am from a time when Fossil wallets and watches were actually appreciated (so much so that my previous bulky wallet was a Fossil, and so was the trifold before that). Even though the suggested Fossil model did not suit my needs in the end, I saw this model among the different Fossil offerings in the page and it caught my eye. I was looking for a slim leather wallet without moving parts that would allow me to store both cards and cash. I like leather both because of its durability and looks, but also because I store my wallet with my cell phone both in my pocket or when stashing them away in a bag, and I wouldn't want an aluminum cardholder with a stainless steel money clip scratching the screen. I figured based on the layout of this wallet that even though individual card compartments might add volume (one of the strategies these slim card holders and pop up wallets employed to avoid bulk was doing away with dividers between cards), the way this tall wallet distributed its contents would likely reduce volume. I was right. I received the wallet, transferred all my cards and bills, and was pleasantly surprised by how thin it was. This wallet full was about as thick as my previous wallet empty. Its dimensions also closely match those of a larger cell phone (it is about the size of a Samsung S20+), meaning it would feel well distributed in my front pocket versus my previous wallet which would create a square bulge. Beyond the thinness of the wallet which was my primary objective, I am satisfied in all other aspects as well. 1. The construction is excellent: stitching is perfect, it is all leather inside-out, with no visible fabric lining (there is some solid-black fabric lining in the back-facing portion of the bill compartment, and on the inside of what the description calls the "wicking slide pocket"--more on that below). 2. It has room for seven separate credit cards on the right side, but the ID window is actually quite spacious and can fit an extra two or three cards behind the ID (it might also serve as a solution for carrying a few business cards). 3. The bill compartment holds cash the way any regular wallet should, except it avoids the usual crease a bifold wallet generates. Nothing exceptional here, but again, this is a department in which most slim wallets seem to fail miserably through far-from-ideal solutions mentioned above. 4. I thought I was going to mind the zipper based on some of the other comments, but I don't: it sits on the fold of the wallet so does not seem to add volume. While I avoid carrying too many coins, it is useful having a place to store them, so I do appreciate the compartment, although I do not plan on using it too frequently (I also want to avoid opening and closing the zipper too much, because it feels a bit hard and I wouldn't want it to jam or break). 5. Lastly, behind the zipper compartment there is the "wicking slide pocket", which is just an additional pocket that slightly expands when you open it. I am not currently using it, but I can see how it might be suitable for storing receipts. Overall a simple, elegant and slim solution to your money and card storage needs. Highly recommend.
