I have used the spray Edit root concealer for years. I just discovered this powdered root concealer recently and like it also. It’s faster and easily packed for trips. It covers as well as the spray so I’m very pleased with it.

I have ordered the dark brown and used that for a year and now just ordered it in black! I can’t be without it! Love this product! Works well in covering up gray roots when you are inbetween coloring! The product lasts a very long time too! I had my dark brown a year now and still have a lot left so it sure goes a long ways! Buy this totally amazing product because it does what it says! I also use an eye liner brush and do my eye brows with this product! To get to the small hairs that frame your face and near the ears just use a small brush and dab it into the Style Edit bonding powder! It makes it so easy to cover up those gray hairs close to the face! I sleep with it in my hair and it doesn’t transfer to my pillowcase! It washes out with shampoo! The round applicator makes it easy to apply that’s located on the bottom of the Style Edit container!

I use this product all the time to cover roots between hairdresser appointments. It’s very effective & exactly the right shade for me & blends in well with my hair color. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a shipping issue. I ordered the 5 pack & was charged for same but what arrived was the 4 pack. I wanted them to just ship me one more since I already had 4 but the AI return process didn’t allow for that so I had to return the 4 pack & then place another order for the 5 pack. They did get it right with the 2nd order.

i love this root cover! It's been a challenge to find a light red shade and this one is perfect. The coverage is very good, and the product is easy to apply. The applicator makes it easy to blend along the hairline, which is very helpful against my fair skin--other products left blotches. The powder looks natural and doesn't stand out at all. It covered well without the need to reapply for a day or two. Although there is not a lot of product in the container, a little goes a long way, and i only need it in the 2-3 weeks before i get my roots done so it ends up being a good value. Adheres to the hair well.

Best product to cover your grey when in between appointments

I bought the medium brown. My hair is a medium to dark ash brown. This medium brown is a warm brown. It doesn’t match my hair color and I don’t know if the dark brown would either but perhaps it would’ve been a better choice. This makes my gray hair look like golden brown and doesn’t conceal gray completely. Not what I’m going for. I guess I’m now stuck with this. Not happy given how expensive it is.

So quick and easy to use when you can't get to your hairdresser. Works well.

Works like a charm

I love this stuff!! I have 90% grey hair and colour it medium copper gold and this root touch up matches it perfectly!! It's so easy to apply with the sponge applicator, which is why I decided to try it out. I've used sprays, which you don't get a lot of, and brush applicator methods, but the sponge is the easiest and faster. You also get a lot of product in this. The colour match is so perfect, the best I've ever found. This one is more expensive than some others, but it's the colour match that makes me love it. It stays in until I wash it, I can dunk my head in water and it stays on! 100% recommend! You can even use it on your eyebrows, I have done that. I'm definitely buying this again when it's finished!

Over priced and ineffective. I read all reviews, followed the application instructions diligently and I’m sorry to say but this product is poor. My roots are mid/light brown and my coloured hair is ash blonde. The product is similar to powdered foundation that you would use from a compact. It’s matte on application and despite being very careful with application it will at the end of the day, end up on your scalp leaving a dark tan line. It simply didn’t cover my roots at all. I’m baffled as to why so many other people say it works. Please don’t waste your money!
