An amazing product!! I have a German Shepherd who recently started having some skin issues. This past summer he had more hot spots than he's ever had before. The slightest touch on his belly made him kick his hind legs as he tried to scratch but was unable to reach and I'd catch him every so often, biting areas on his hind legs that would develop raw patches. Left unnoticed, they would turn into hot spots. It got to the point where I was checking him daily and spraying down any red patches on his skin with Listerine. The spray would keep the hot spots from developing as long as I caught them early enough, but it was not getting to the root of the problem. In addition, he's always had a sensitive stomach and his poops were never really 100% solid. In the past I've used the powdered probiotics on his food which helped a little, so I was a bit skeptical that this would make a huge difference.After reading the great reviews, I decided to give this product a shot. I'd say by third week, I noticed a huge difference. The itch problem is almost completely gone, belly rubs no longer cause him to scratch. The past couple of nights his poops have been firmer than they've ever been - hopefully this will also last. All I can say is that this product is amazing. I will continue to purchase this as long as is helps with my dog's itch and digestion issues.

My Pomeranian, Dorian, was throwing up, having diarrhea, and didn't want to eat much. He's 10 years old, and he's always occasionally gone through days like that. I found this product, and after reading the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. After a day, all his symptoms were gone. No more diarrhea, vomiting, and his appetite was back. Since this is a supplement, I continue to give him half a tablet in the morning, and half at night. I've asked my veteraniarian about it, and he says it looks good to him.Here's a note about the seller, Fernando: Even before I received the item, Fernando sent me a personal email, thanking me for choosing ProBiotics for Dogs. Included was a detailed .pdf explaining the product, and how to use it. He recommended to split the tablet in half, giving half in the morning, half at night, on an empty stomach. When I received the product, I tried splitting the tab with a pill cutter, but the tab turned to powder. I just sprinkled it on his food, which was no big deal. But then, in a few days, I got another email from Fernando, asking me how I liked the product. I couldn't believe he was taking the time to give such personalized service! I told him that Dorian was doing much better, but that I couldn't split the tabs with the cutter. He told me to just use my fingers instead. I've been doing that now, and it splits the tab great!Since Dorian has a sensitive tummy, I plan to continue using this supplement. He loves the taste, so I don't have to hide it in food or a pill pocket. It seems to have a liver taste that dogs love! Although she doesn't really need it, once in a while, I give my other Pom, Lily, a half a tab. She loves it!Great product, great service!

Our rescue maltipoo got sick with a case of really bad diarrhea for a couple days (possible as a side affect to allergy medicine Rx'd by his vet). We stopped his allergy/steroid med. After seeming to have recovered, his stool never was the same-- always loose or too soft. It was to the point that it was very difficult to pick up & lots would get stuck to the grass.There were times that he had a grumbly gassy tummy before this event. We had already had him on a grain free diet. Our main goal of buying these probiotics was to get his stool firmer and we saw a big difference within the first few days already!I haven't had great luck with getting him to accept it as a treat. He will take a 1/2 tablet it in his mouth and then drop it. So we've been crumbling it over his food. (crumbles into powder fairly easily) I will see if breaking it into smaller pieces than a 1/2 tab will encourage him to accept it as a treat. Just haven't had much time due to the holidays to work on getting him to get excited about eating it. I will give it more time and adjust my rating, right now 5 stars for the fact that the product has firmed his stool.

I have been giving my dog NutraPet Probiotics for Dogs for two weeks now. He had horrible gas night and day. In fact, it was so bad at night that sometimes we had to move him out of our room. I am happy to say that the gas seems to be gone. His gaseous output seemed to reduce within in 2 or 3 days. I wanted to wait to write this review to make sure. Now, he has been almost gas free for over a week. I say "almost" because every once in awhile has a little gas but nothing like it was before, and it does not stay with him for any length of time.I have only given 4 stars because his mushy and loose stools have not improved very much; they have improve a little but not what I was hoping for. Despite this problem, I shall continue to use and purchase this product because not only is his gas pretty much gone, but he seems to be mor lively since he has been taking the probiotic.Thanks for a cool product.

I have two small poodles. The younger one (age 10) has had stomach/digestive issues for many years and I have to be extremely careful about what she eats. Anything other than her routine food causes problems. My other one is older (age 13) and has multiple health problems that require several medications daily. Almost weekly one or the other of my dogs experiences a day of stomach upset and diarrhea.After trying many suggested solutions without success, I began giving both my dogs the NutraPet Chewable Probiotics. The results were obvious within just a few days. Both my dogs clearly felt better and neither of them have had an episode of stomach upset or diarrhea since beginning to receive this product.
