The applicator strips broke into three pieces on the first slide of the first use. Very poor quality. Do not buy it

Worked fine. My treadmill was abruptly stopping and sometimes briefly slowing (which could be made out only while running at higher speed). After application, it is smooth and has not stopped so far (after 3-4 hours). Price on amazon and on Proform website is similar. Checked with Proform, before buying this, since I was supposed to use wax based (not silicone). They suggested this which was on their website, but I preferred to buy on amazon due to ease of buying prime items. I read reviews about applicator breaking, which certainly possible due to its flimsy nature. I've seen a lot of people loosening the belt and applying it. I was lazy to do it. So I did by inserting the applicator first under the belt and then holding the belt and applicator, moved them together back and forth few times. I didn't break my applicator. The same lubricant is also sold as individual packs on Amazon, but priced at 9.98$, which would 29.94$ when you buy three. So buying this makes more sense, since this comes with applicator, belt cleaner, magnetic key etc in addition.

The stuff worked. My treadmill had been sitting up in storage for about a year. When I finally got into a place where I could have it the house again, I started using it. After about 10-15 minutes, it would stall. I was told to get lube for the belt. Got this stuff and applied it, now I can run the treadmill's full workout programs with no stalls. The applicator was a little weak. I thought it was going to break a few times but it held up. But I am not confident that it would last very long after the first few uses.

The applicator for the lubricant is made of thin, flimsy plastic coveted by sponges to hold and apply the oil. The plastic was not stiff enough to slide easily under the treadmill mat. (It's a NordicTrack brand treadmill and I can't imagine my mat would have significantly less play in it than normal for their product line.) When I slid the applicator under the mat, I heard it crack as soon as it met some resistance. I was NOT pushing in it very hard and was also trying to lift the mat up a bit to ease the resistance. After realizing it was not going to go in more than halfway, I began to ease it back out and it completely broke apart into 3 pieces, rendering it totally unusable.

This is the second one of these kits I've had and after the first I considered it a one star. After the second I would give it five stars except for the poor instructions. You HAVE to loosen the belt about 10 turns or your applicator will break. Mine broke 3 times before I gave up and used a wooden dowel and rag to apply the lube in the first kit. Make sure the belt is tightened equally to run straight before you use it again!

Received item in a very well pkg box. Exactly as described and included instructions. Very easy to use and includes a storage sleeve making it easy to reuse. Very satisfied

Not impressed for the price. The plastic bar that you're supposed to use to apply the lubricant is cheap plastic. The 2 sections used to hold on broke the first day just moving it up and down as instructed under the belt to apply the lubricant. They give you a giant bottle of cleaner and 3 tiny packets of lubricant. For what you pay I would expect a bottle of lubricant and a much smaller amount of cleaner. I'd advise getting one of the high rated lubricants alone than wasting money on this.

The foam application board did a terrific job. I loved the way that the lubricant was uniformly applied.
