Great product
I liked it, is very practical, attaches really easy to your clothes and you can decide whether to show it or not.

Best of the Inexpensive Microphones
I've tried several of the less expensive microphones out and the Boys is the best of the bunch. The sound is really nice as is the volume. Some of the ones that don't use a battery have weak audio pick up. This kills background noise and accentuates what's in front of it. I wish it didn't have the batteries but I imagine they should last awhile.

Nice sound, LOW volume problem...at first
UPDATE: For reasons I do not understand, the mic is now working better in camera mode. Exact same setup today as yesterday, but now the audio is an acceptable level. Go figure. I'll see how long this lasts. Updated to 4 stars for now.-------------------------------------------------I tried this out on my Canon D80 DSLR. First I found you need to be careful in pushing in the mini-plug all the way; thought I had it in correctly the first time, but the recording was on one track only. Not an issue I have had before.A problem is that the recording volume is pretty low. I even checked the battery voltage to see if it was dead (it wasn't). I played my test video on a Win 10 PC and needed to have both the player and the computer volume up to full to hear my voice, even then it was soft. I think I can boost the sound in a video editor, but I don't think I should have to. This unit looks to be well made and simple to use otherwise. Too bad.Update-Volume is good on a cell phone (Pixel 3), so not sure why camera is so much lower. Tried it on a Canon Vixia HF G50 video camera, same low volume issues.

Was great, until.....
When I first purchased this item it was a major improvement. The sound was good, well much better than the phones mic when making videos. That being said, after a year of use its developed crackling and the tone of my voice though the mic when recorded is noticeably different than it was with the first few videos I did using this mic. I've changed the batteries and changed the and even used a different recording app for sound to make sure I was covering all bases. I cannot get this mic to produce the same good sound it had when I first purchased it. So, maybe its just my unit, maybe I have bad luck. I hope anyone else who purchases this mic has good luck with it.

Ohhh Boya
I bought this Lav Mic on the suggestion of Justin Brown from Primal Video on YT as I am entering that phase of doing beat-making videos for YT. Great features, sound and loads of cable. On thing is that the included 1/4" adapter doesn't seem to be grounded. It buzzed when I plugged it in the mic input. So, I used my PCs mic input. No buzz, no fuss. Buy it!!!!

Super long wire.
Great price. Good quality. I've used it for videos with my iPhone and Canon Camera. It does the job at a very very inexpensive price. If you got the money to get a wireless setup like the Rode Wireless Go, go for it. If not this works just as well. Perfect for in home recording setups.

Appeared to be a good product but…
I couldn’t review the product because I was given incorrect information from another source and it didn’t work for my needs.
