Straight out of the box, already frustrated. Scuffs and outer shell damage was expected, and I haven't even turned it on yet so this review may change, but what the hell is this? The power cable inlet/socket looks fried (third included photo is the same kind of console, 6 kids abusing it for YEARS, a cursory glance shows better condition. That really emphasizes the level of care they're putting into refurbished tech..) and the remote looks like it's been smashed at least once. Sticky all over, buttons sticking down, dirty. A bottle of isopropyl and a q-tip would've cleaned it better just by being in PROXIMITY to this remote. Hoping for a miracle on the inside, will edit in a couple hours. Edit: plugging the power cable into the console socket caused a crackling sound, due to the burnt crap stuck to the prongs. Someone popped a circuit or blew a fuse on an outlet this console was connected to, and Amazon didn't do a thorough job at ALL. This should not have been labeled excellent condition is all I have to say. Last update (photo taken) shows it was plugged in and used very recently. By an Amazon Refurbished tech or the previous owner, lord only knows. It turns on. Shockingly. It's behaving exactly as it should. Gonna boot up Minecraft and Battlefield 4 at the same time after work to stress it out, see if it has issues after a few hours of play time and being left on for an 8 hour shift downloading games. Significant issues will result in a refund request, anything light (thermal paste, internal cleaning, getting the carbon off the power circuit prongs) can be fixed with a YouTube teardown tutorial and previous experience. -SHORT REMINDER- ONLY if a refund isn't necessary/possible. Not everyone knows this, so FYI y'all: any home work done instantly voids your warranties 90% of the time. Always reach out to the source company or the place you bought it, and if an at home repair is your final answer, STEADY YOURSELF. One wrong slip can cripple a console or break delicate plugs. The X-bar holding down the heat sync will be your most difficult task, if you can't get it without slipping, find someone with stronger steadier hands. Last thing you want is to put a screwdriver through your motherboard trying to muscle that clamp off. Off to work. Let's see where this adventure leads us.

Looks brand new. This xbox was well packaged and shipped quickly. Came with HDMI cable, power cable, controller and another cord. Decently priced!

It came as exactly as advertised. It was well packaged and had no damage.

Console seems to work ok. But took a few days to get the Tom Clancy disk to work. And then I had an almost 3 hour download to get the " full-game download of Tom Clancy's The Division 2" and that's a high speed connection! I expected a used console but thought I was getting a new game. Doesn't seem like such a good deal now.
