MANDATORY purchase for anyone who doesn't have a Neve console
I just got this unit and I will say, without hesitation, that it is the best standalone mic preamp that I have ever owned. It works and sounds like the channel strip of a Neve console. I am seriously impressed with this thing, as it has made vocals easier to track, crisper, cleaner, and more detailed. The compressor works amazingly well, and it has eliminated other equipment and plug-ins. There are MANY options for sends with this thing, as well as internal chaining... it is complicated to be certain, but not too complicated to just get in and work!Now I need about 15 more. :D
