Great, but it must be charged beforehand...and comes with an EU plug only...
I cut my own hair and beard, so I buy one of the cheapest haircutters I can find, and, as long as I get 2/3 cuts ouf of them, I save money, barbers are expensive these days and there’s no point paying £10 plus for a grade 1 or 2 buzzcut all over my head - no skill needed here! This is, as all of them do, a very powerful, clean cut fresh out of the box, this tends to wimper down as the battery dies a slow, painful death but, so far, so good. There’s a great array of good quality plastic grade things and even a specific cover for hair cutting, the beard trim covers tend to clog with a lot of hair as I found out...Loses one star as it’s only got an EU plug, which isn’t the end of the world if you have a UK converter like I do, but is something you should be aware of. Crucially, and a bit of a downer, you must ensure you charge it WELL BEFORE cutting your hair, as you can’t use it while it’s plugged in and charging and if the charge dies mid haircut...yeah, you’re up the creek without a charge!

Lasted 7 months and then died.
While it lasted this was a good product. It worked really well. But I couldn’t recommend it. It only lasted 8 months of quite light usage. It then simply died.

Cuts out a often and takes ages to charge
My child has a medical condition which means he often has bald patches of hair. Our barber recommended us just doing grade one cuts at home as he felt bad keep charging us every week to cut the hair to make the bald patches less noticeable. I brought this in oct. It’s ok, the only issue I have is that there is no charge light so now and then I start shaving and then it just dies out. I’m then left with track lines in the hair where I was just shaving and of course parts of unshaven head. I can’t just plug in and shave as it’s a bathroom plug rather than a normal plug so I have to stop to charge and then go back. This evening, when that happened again I charged it for 30 mins hoping that would give time to finish the cut. I literally did two more little rows in of hair and it cut out again. It’s now on charge overnight but it’s a good thing he doesn’t have to go to school tomorrow. To get 5 stars this would have a charge light on the razor.

Shaver will not turn on after one month of usage
I have used the shaver for about a month. Now it product won’t turn on. I have charged it with the green light showing on the charging plug, however the shaver itself won’t work when I turn it on. I have charged it for many hours and still no success.

Great all in one trimmer with slow charging (and not waterproof)
I bought the Brain MGK3221 trimmer 2 months ago for £20 and it has been excellent – but has some key certain limitations.ProsThe blades are sharp, but I haven’t cut myself yet – for the easiest shave I would recommend using it with an electric pre-shave such as Blue Stratos to ensure that the hair is prepped and easy to cut.The different shaver heads all attach smoothly and stay attached in use (and have a reassuring click when you are adjusting the position relative to the blade), so you don’t end up cutting a huge chunk out of your own hair accidentally. The battery life is fairly long.ConsThe battery requires 10 hours to charge for 50 mins of use – so you will need to charge it in advance if you think the battery is running low. The trimmer CANNOT be used whilst charging, most likely a safety feature, but many Philips trimmers do allow this, which is much more convenient. Not waterproof – a lot of cut stubble accumulates on the body of the shaver – it would be super convenient to be able to wash it away under the tap – so perhaps consider buying one of the more expensive ‘wet or dry’ models if this is a deal breaker for you (which also tend to charge faster than this model). No bag or carrying case included - not a massive issue, but would be nice to have.IMPORTANT POINT TO NOTE – the charger is a 2 PIN SHAVER PLUG – THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS AN EU PLUG (A SHAVER PLUG HAS 2 PINS WHICH ARE CLOSER TOGETHER THAN AN EU ONE).I would recommend buying a 2 Pin to 3 Pin adaptor such as the one at the link below:TESSAN 2 Pin to 3 Pin Adapter Plug Sockethttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Adaptor-TESSAN-Bathroom-Electric-Toothbrush/dp/B092S6ZFS9
