I bought 3 of these because I read reviews saying their reliability was hit or miss. All 3 of them gave me the same issue. The first one, after I paired the remote, I noticed that the winch would start/stop/start/stop while I was holding down the button. I took it out anyway to test the range and found that it was not 50m, it was actually just under 30m. So I returned it and ordered 2 more. Same issue with the transmission stability. Winch would not consistently work, it would keep cutting off. Sometimes nothing would happen at all when I press the buttons. I didn't bother testing the range on the last 2. I think it's pretty clear that there is no Quality Assurance involved in the production of these units. TLDR: Roll the die if you want but I rolled and lost 3 times.

Good quality product, works great and inexpensive. Would suggest con-formal coating the circuit board if using in water.

I have used warn controllers and this one is very similar. I gorilla glued the power connectors in their place and it works great on my Warn Winch. Very easy setup

CR2032 batteries came dead. Would have been nice if they had an insulator to keep the batteries from dying. Other than that, it seems to work. Not well insulated so you will want to enclose it if you want to protect it from the elements.

Exactly what needed and ordered. My winch controller quit on me and this was a better replacement. I did have to water proof myself with clear nail polish. But it works great and the nail polish worked well. Had my rc fully submerged, no issues.

So far so good, it works for lifting my low boy Neck up and down
