This worked really well when I travelled and worked on holiday, initial setup a bit cumbersome but product is Super. The user manual should be broken down to make it more simpler

Super Support
I've been using this as my portable internet connection device for the last year, works really well. Love the fact that's it's openWRT on the inside so I can customise anything I want.Had an issue after upgrading the OS where the MCU stopped working. Spent sometime trying to fix myself, ended up contacting support. Really helpful team, made lots excellent suggestions, in this case didn't resolve it so they have arrange to Replace it. No mess no Fuss.Having a support team who actually want to help is a lovely change these days.

Extremely disappointing for the money.
Very disappointing for the price and for the publicity this recieved. Its possible that this is aimed at far less technical users, and indeed the nicest thing I can say about it is that it does provide a simple UI and config that a lay person would find easy to use.The description and really quite substantial coverage the kickstarter campaign recieved rather billed it as a high end tool for the more technically inclined and I think sadly it falls a long way short. If my low end android phone can last 2 days with LTE and WiFi enabled along with a much more powerful cpu, screen and all the rest, I would be expect this to do better, as it is it takes about as long to charge as to discharge. 6 hours idle seems seems to be about what my unit will do, and I dont know what but something is kicking out a fair bit of heat in there. The software is pretty but ultimately adds little value, and even with aggressive tweaking over SSH and the far more appealing Luci interface provided by a stock Openwrt build im still unable to get the 27mbps line speed a 30 quid Hauwei from 6 years ago does by default. There is nothing that this does that a cheap SBC, 4g dongle, OpenWRT and a battery won't do for you for about 1/4 the price.I very rarely leave bad reviews but having bought 3 of these, at a substantial 600 pounds sterling I was expecting a hell of a lot more that the one I've tested delivers. It's possible that I have a faulty unit but closer inspection of their forums suggests these issues are not just limited to me.I like the company and people tell me the AR750 (I think) is a good bit of kit. I also found their support live chat responsive and helpful, he asked me to send a system log in to tech support email but frankly it's a lot of money for a product that the battery life (and ridiculously slow charging) alone make it unfit for purpose.Sorry chaps, I wanted it to be great. If it transpires I have a faulty unit then I will happily take this review down.
