switch works well and is well made. One thing to note is that you must have enough room in your bilge area to attach this and you must have enough of an area for the lever to float up and down with the bilge water.

Easy to install. Simple operation as you would expect. Only concern is that while installing I noticed a few times the switch separated from the base a couple of time.It is designed to do this. My only concern is that it seemed to happen a little more easily then I would like.But so far it’s in and working as expected with no issues.

I installed this for a client- great quality, operates smoothly; as good or better than Rule at a third of the cost. ....hey, boat is still afloat ;-D!

It depends on how much room you have to install it. Seems to work fine and is less than half the price of the Rule brand.

The float appears to be hollow plastic with no weight added. It needs some mass right out at the end to give it some help falling in case of obstruction in the bilge..and this is with a brand new/first use. If the pivot rod rusts or gets dirt in there, it may not fall at all.Using this in a barrel to test, the float caught on a little wayward wire. By hand I can push the wire away and it feels like almost zero newtons required to do it. But that float, with almost no effective moment, stopped like it hit a brick wall.The mount and build itself feels extremely cheap and flimsy. This is not something anyone should rely on to protect life or property. The dark blue attwood I've had for years seems 10x better.

Simple and effective

With a little bit of dirt it will stuck open and kill your bilge pump, your battery, and sunk your boat if left unattended under the rain. To fix this pos disaster you must increase the float length and weight , see pic
