Awesome tutorial. I've always rated myself an "8" in Excel because I never learned how to do VLOOKUPs or pivot tables. This book offers step-by-step instructions and explanations with downloadable worksheets. I'm on chapter 5, and I feel so much more empowered in Excel.

And I haven't changed my assesment of the book a bit. Actually, it helped to save a lot of time at my job!!! But I must write about Henry, its author. As I mentioned above, I purchased all other three Champion books: IF, Conditional Formatting, and Pivot Tables. And follow the protocol to receiving the exercise sheets for each function via email, as promised by Henry in his first book, VLOOKUP. However, the spreadsheets did not arrive. I was very disappointed, because with VLOOKUP CHAMPION, I got them in a matter of minutes. I sent several emails to Henry. And, after a day or two without response, I requested Amazon for a full refund. Ohhhhh we humans...we can be so inpatient sometimes, and so insensitive...I know I can be...and it is wrong to be like that. Henry had his own personal issues with COVID19 that prevented him from answering my emails right away. But he did answer them. And as a true gentleman, honest, and good person that he is, he sent me an email apologizing for the wait, with the books and their spreadsheets. Now I have all I wanted, and free of charge. NOW THAT IS FIRST CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you Henry! Not only you write excellent books, but you are one of the few businessmen left that still believe in customer service, honesty, and loyalty. I'm so looking forward to the new version of VLOOKUP you mentioned you will publish soon. I'm waiting in front of the line, like you probably were waiting to buy your groceries, affected by COVID19. But I'm sure you were patient, not like other insensitive humans like me.

I have always wanted to use VLOOKUP formulas for my daily data extraction work, and have shied away from using them in the past because I'm not able to get my hand on a clear and simple to understand VLookUp book. My current tasks at work, however, almost demand that I use VLOOKUP (or some other sort of lookup function) to accomplish what I need to do. I'm glad to come across Henry's "Excel VLookUp Champion" and understand the VLOOKUP command and many other aspects of this fantastic excel formula. I have so many more weapons in the arsenal now that I can become comfortable with, thanks to this book, and I am using VLOOKUP in ways that I would not have imagined a week ago. The best part of this purchase may well be the download file! The 30 examples contained therein helps you to learn and fully grasp the scope of the book.

Most simplified explanation of introducing the VLOOKUP function. Straight to the point; not wordy or lengthy in explanations. Wonderful practice exercises, as well. Very basic and would recommend to beginners.

Purely Cosmetic Review: The book is small so it is harder to keep the pages down when studying and following along. I would suggest either a larger book, or a ring bound book. For now I will need to clip the pages.

Hello, I founds this book to be a great resource. As per the author's instructions, I had to send an email to Mr. Mejia because the data was not available on the referenced site. My email for the practice exams were sent the next day. Plus , Mr Meija provide a number of other topics and offered me the opportunity to attend a free online class. The purchase has proven to be worth the investment. I would definitely recommend Vlookup Champion to beginners and intermediate users. I'll certainly be purchasing more of his product. Regards.

I use Excel everyday for work and needed a refresher on VLOOKUP basics and needed to learn advanced functions of them. This book has taught me more than I could have hoped for. I am now able to do large, advanced account reconciliations in very little time. The downloadable practice sheets are great for hands-in learning and help reinforce what is in the book. I keep it on my desk for quick reference. I’ve been assigned higher level responsibilities because of the advanced skills taught in this book. The book gives you a quick overview over the vlookup as the combination with IF/IFERROR and also gives you a broad view of the index/match function. It is easy to understand and the exercise helps you to understand and deepen your knowledge.

I started this book with a basic knowledge of excel, but hadn't really used vlookups that much in the past. This books starts with the basics and builds knowledge chapter by chapter, re-enforcing what you've just learned in the text with useful exercises.

VERY EASY TO FOLLOW. GOT MOST OF THEM. WAS STRUGGLING UNDERSTANDING THE IF FUNCTION, NOT NOW. THE EXAMPLES ARE DONE IN AWAY THAT IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE WAY THE FUNCTION IS BROKEN DOWN REALLY HELPS YOU TO GET A GRIP OF THE PROCESS. THE ADDITIONAL EXERCISES ARE REALLY HELPFULL. LOVE DOING IF'S NOW!!!
