A perfect fit. But I would not follow the instructions by attempting to start at the top. Start from the sides. It will make it much easier. Once you get started, lock your fingers into position over the areas where the pads are well seated into the lip. As you get more into the lip adjust your fingers accordingly. The second one took me less than a minute. Do not be afraid to stretch them into position. You do not have to get positioning perfect, as when you have them completely installed they will easily rotate into position. These are a good investment. They are very comfortable.

Really soft touch. Easy to install. I really don't remember the texture of the original ones cause it has been a long time with them peeled, so my first impression with this new ones was satisfactory. Reasonable price.

They fit perfectly! They aren't the most sound isolating, but they help and are good looking. Good product!

*Update - I've now had a lot of time to evaluate these and can confirm these have eliminated the irritation issues I had wearing the headphones for extended periods and I have personally not noticed any difference in the sound. Solved my problem:-)Bought these as I too was getting a bit of ear pain (mostly right ear) when wearing my m50x's for a long time. Saw these had a slightly larger opening and for the price I figured I'd give it a shot and sure enough they definitely help alleviate the soreness I was getting wearing the headphones for extended periods. Maybe I'm nuts but they might be a little warmer, but we are indeed going through a heatwave in NYC at the moment though I do have a single AC trying to keep up. These have not changed the sound of the headphones at all btw. I recommend these if you too have discomfort wearing the m50x's for long periods. If these don't help you then switch to a 50mm driver headphone.
