The best of three brands purchased
I have purchased three brands of 3" x 36" tubes (these, "Staples 558448 3-Inch X 36-Inch Staples White Mailing Tubes 12/Carton (11634)", and "Quality Park 46008 White Mailing Tubes, 24l x 2dia, White (Case of 25)"). These are the best for us. (I no longer have any of the Quality Park tubes, so I can't include details of them, below.)An advantage of these tubes (for us) is the inside dimension holds a 36" poster very well (37-1/16" length, 7/16" caps, leaving an inside dimension of 36-1/4"). We have been purchasing the Staples 36" tubes, which have an inside dimension of 35-7/8").Another advantage of these over the Staples tube is they are lighter (8.3 oz [292 g] vs 6.8 oz [241 g]). In our cause, that lets us ship the item as 1 pound versus 1.2 pounds. The end caps in these are also more secure (we taped the caps in the ends of the Staples tubes). A slight disadvantage of these vs the Staples is they are brown versus white.

Aggravated
Update: I contacted Amazon customer service. They were kind and wanted to fix my problem. They insured me the next box of tubes they would ship would be the correct size. Well they arrived and still 1” larger, thus making them a priority mail item and not first class. That’s a $3-$4 different per tube when you ship. I ended up cutting the extra inch off with my band saw, and now they work perfectly. Such aggravation.I purchased the " 2"x22" " tube to ship wrapping paper. I purchased this size because it was just under the requirements for First Class Mail. The tubes are a great quality, but these are 1" larger than advertised - making them a priority mail item and a few dollars more to ship. SO, these tubes are actually 2"x23" NOT 2"x22" . This infuriates me, when you purchase something and it's not as it seems.

Great for shipping
Used to ship products from my Etsy shop. Works great! They are sturdy and just the right size. I did worry about the plastic ends coming out during shipment, so I added some packing tape over the ends to be safe.

Used to be great, last order of 10 boxes
Used to be great, last order of 10 boxes, not so much. the spiraled cardoard is coming unglued and"unwinding" before I even mail them....and the prices jumps from $34 to $50 in one week? HA! I go through thousands of these a year, no more of them from this greedy seller.

Great Value
These tubes are a Great value for the costs. I paid about $42 for 24 of them and use them to ship billiard cues (pool cues).
