Spektrum Firma 160A Brushless Smart ESC, 3S-8S, SPMXSE1160, Black

I put this into an arrma limitless and I'm very happy with the quality and functionality of it. I got it because I wanted to take advantage of the smart technology in the batteries and radio system.

Esc worked for 3 minutes then stopped, returned item it's been returned for over 2 weeks still no refund issued

This is a good ESC that I put in my Kraton 6s with the 1250 motor and made it my mini 8s and it was badass

Its an ok upgrade from the 150a 6s one.I had the combo with the 1250kv motor in an infraction and quickly found that it isn't good for onroad use where high speeds are being maintained. I removed it and put it in my Mojave 6s and geared it as high as I could, which was something like 24-27t pinion.Now that's exactly what this esc and 1250kv was built for.It is definitely much more at home in an off-road vehicle then something built for higher speeds. Don't get me wrong, I had 1 in a limitless at one point, and got it up to 112mph on 38/34 gearing. But, there are much better options for those types of cars and builds. I was impressed with it Off Road though.Here's what I got it to do.In a Mojave 6s V2 w/ 24t-27t pinion:•70-75mph top speed.•Wheelies on command, at nearly any speed.•No thermal shut downs.•No cogging•No cutting out.•Tire shredding torque.•Telemetry•Very reliable ESC when taken care of and used properly.With that being said, I give it 3 stars because initially I bought it as an upgrade to my infraction and it wasn't up for that task, so I ended up buying a Castle XLX2 for it and luckily had the mojave to use this in.

Worked great in my Arrma Limitless. So far I haven’t had any issues with it.

put in my krton 8s truck ran 4 about 4 min then started smoking took body off and power switch and wires all melted and burned money wasted cant buy a replacement switch so im out 279.00 not a good deal that i am interested in
