Is anyone using this monitor with one of the new apple silicon macbooks with the m1 chip? have you had any issues?

Hello, Currently BenQ cannot guarantee that all the functions of the monitor will work normally with the M1. This can be related to several factors, including the M1 chip design compatibility requirement Please note this observation has also being present in monitors of other manufacturers (brands), so we recommend to contact Apple support to confirm this compatibility.

Can i plug this into my late 2013 macpro (trashcan) thunderbolt ports?

Hello, We recommend using a direct connection through the included cable to avoid signal decay/poor transition through third party devices, such as hubs, adapters, etc. It is also advisable to validate with the manufacturer of the adapter/concentrator, etc. that there will be no problem for our monitor to emit the desired signal. Furthermore, as long as the timing provided by the source device is supported, our monitor will be able to display it.
