Q: Does this stain light colored carpet?

No, I have not noticed any difference at all. I used it mainly in my garage but I have several throw carpets out there, some are light colors and others are dark. No stains or color change at all. I put the Staticide in a spray bottle and lightly misted the carpets and other items out there. No smell or stains. You don't need to wet anything, just lightly mist. Seems to work great.

Q: Can I spray it on my dog and let him roll around on carpet?

It is not advisable to spray an animal with any product unless it was meant specifically for pets. The 2002 Heavy Duty Staticide can be sprayed onto carpet. Once dry, it is okay for pets to walk on and roll about.

Q: Does this have an odor?

After spraying on my family room carpet there was no odor and the static shocks were eliminated. I sprayed a large room which is about 23' x 23'. You'll need to re-spray about every two weeks but it only took under one minute to spray.

Q: Can I spray this directly on electronics and other metallic surfaces?

Metal is naturally conductive, so it is not necessary to use an anti-stat on the surface. The product is mostly water which may rust some metal surfaces. Do not spray any topical anti-stat directly onto electronic components. Electronic components need to be isolated on the PCB.
