Helly-HansenHH Ocean Dry Bag L

As usual a well made item from Helly Hanson. Thick material, waterproof so far in relatively inclement weather (in my case). My only complaint is, if it is really a complaint, is the strap is pretty basic.

I took this on a trip where I knew it would get rained on constantly. I’ve never owned a dry bag, but after a fair amount of research, I knew HH was a trustworthy name. I wasn’t disappointed.

Perfect for my day sailing grab bag. The right size to carry all my essentials on to any boat and be ready to go.

Bought this as a gift for my friend who lives on a sailboat. His previous dry bag was a heavy nylon/pvc material and had failed clips and no straps. This bags clips are sturdy and I see holding up for a long time. The material is lightweight while still maintaining waterproofing. The bag often sits in the floor of his dinghy getting wet/splashed. It works for keeping things dry from that and the occasional rain during his commute.That added in with the high-vis red color and it was the perfect gift.
