Lion Brand Yarn Mandala Ombré Yarn with Vibrant Colors, Soft Yarn for Crocheting and Knitting, Harmony, 1-Pack

This is the first yarn “cake” I’ve had the pleasure of working with. The cake of yarn is smaller than I thought it would be, but I started a blanket with this yarn, not sure what to expect. I’m very pleased with the softness of the yarn and ease of working with. I wish each yarn cake had more yards in it, but I love working with this yarn. I started out with 2 and then bought 4 more of the same color. This yarn is a little lighter than I expected, but is working up great. It’s beautiful, the way the color seems hand dyed.I couldn’t find the end strand in the center, so I’m having to work from the outside, but not a big deal. Will probably be buying again. It’s definitely worth the price and will make a good warm blanket.

Soooo Beautiful! The colors are even prettier in person. It was a pleasure to knit a very soft, oversized throw for my granddaughter to take to college in September. I told her that now she can be wrapped in grandma’s love!! The yarn is very soft, silky, not scratchy. I loved knitting with it. Even though it is size 4 medium worsted, it’s thinner than other size 4 worsted yarns I've used. I find that all size 4 worsteds are not the same thickness. I used a pattern that was written for this Lion Brand Mandala, and the guage was perfect. Mandala is gorgeous. It’s amazing how it self stripes. There are sometimes a few tiny knots in the skeins, where the yarn was joined during precessing. I just cut the yarn and joined the yarn as you would join any yarn. This hardly occurred and was not a problem. I have not washed and dried it, but the instructions say that you can machine wash and dry, which is great!!

I'm still working with this wonderful grey ombre colored yarn from Lion Brand Yarns. A name you can trust in easy to use cakes that works up well. The Mandala Ombre color name is "Cool". The cake is 100% acrylic yarn that is so soft and snuggly! It is a size 4 or worsted weight and come in at a weight of 5.3oz/150grams. The amount is 344 yds/315meters. I'll definitely be buying it again and in other shades. This would be a great gift for a crocheter or knitter in your life. This particular shade is a great value for the money, as different colors are priced differently.

Very soft and washes well. Easy to work with - pulls out nicely from center. The varietions in blue tones in color are very beautiful.

This yarn is beautiful and extremely soft, it can be a bit difficult to work with for intricate patterns that require a stiffer yarn my only complaint was that there was a knot in the yarn and the ends were frayed

This brand has quickly become my go too for baby blankets! No changing colors and super soft, while being heavenly to work with! Love all the colorways!

Fantastic yarn! The color is stunning and the yarn is so soft! I bought it to crochet a pair of summer pants to wear over my bathing suit, which in Florida can be tricky, but with this yarn being so lightweight and soft it's perfect! Great quality, especially for the price. I will be buying more 😁
