Amazon Basics 3 Piece Pliers Set with Durable Nylon Case (6-Inch Diagonal, Slip Joint, Long Nose), Black

I got these as a "back seat" pair just to keep in my truck. I assumed because of the price that these are just cheap "Harbor Freight" type, boy was I wrong! These things are really sturdy and very well made and have a lot of weight to them. I am actually surprised by the price vs how they actually are. They are worth way more.

I've only used one of the pliars so far - I misplaced my other one, and it seemed a grwstmoricw to buy this whole set versus just the one. They seem much nicer than the ones I misplaced, however, and given how I've had them other ones for over 30 years and have used them all the time without any issue, I'm guessing these new ones will last at least as long. They appear quite durable, and therefore quite a deal for the price.

I use them quite a bit. Some of the tools are a little stiff but they work well. As long as they hold up they should be fine.

Good quality, great value. Rubber covered handles make gripping easy and comfortable. The zippered storage case is nice to have….definitely a bonus.

Bought this set of pliers in May, 2021 and was happy with them so I bought a second set last week (Dec, 2023). The wire cutters and needle nose pliers are the same quality as the set I bought in 2021. However, the new slip joint pliers are significantly smaller, lighter in weight, and the rivet in the joint is loose. These aren’t a useful tool, more of a toy tool. The new set is going back to Amazon.

Works as it should. Easy gripping

I ordered the 3-piece set and was impressed that it even came in a nice zippered cloth packaging. The pliers look tough for the price and the grips are very comfortable. Looks like you can keep them for years to come. If you want basic pliers to get whatever future job done -- get these.
