THE definitive edition of the Red Dragon/Grand Grimoire plus tons of excellent scholarship to put it in it's historical context. Educational value aside Aaman Lamba is not only a scholar but a practitioner so there aren't some of the same oversights of necessary information. I can't recommend this enough.

This truly is a well-written translation with the original text in French as well. It truly is something incredible. Amazing quality and the images are great.

This book is a really interesting read and the editors, authors have a pretty entertaining writing style. The translation is good and keeps the "ye olde" speak to intelligible standards. I suppose it's actual date being the 1800s would help with that as well.I mostly like this as a historical curiosity but as far as the rites inside go, I will not be attempting any, but feel free to knock yourself out. Tip: I think you're supposed to create the pact so that there is a loophole so you can avoid paying the debt back with your soul.

I really love this book. I've been looking for a book like this for a while. It is a complete encyclopedia of sorts with all the spirits, their history, and how to work with them. There is so much knowledge in this book. You would have to purchase over 200 books to get something of it's equivalency.

This is what a faithful translation of a classic should be. The work is pristine, easy to read, and presented along side the original French. The author is also incredibly approachable. While definitely not for beginners, this edition of Dragon Rouge is peerless.
