Good Grips Adjustable Shaker - 8 oz

I bought this to hold my Earthling Company’s dry shampoo as the original container didn’t hold up. This works great for me as the lid has 2 different size holes to control the amount of product dispersed. You can completely close the lid which prohibits moisture from ruining the dry shampoo. The container is glass instead of plastic so I’m careful using it in the bathroom. It’s a nice size and after transferring the dry shampoo into it, it was filled halfway. I like the weight and won’t easily knock it over on the counter. I like the shaker so much. I will be buying one for powdered sugar and grated Parmesan cheese. Like all OXO products it’s well made and IMO it’s worth every penny

Very nice materials and construction, as usual for Oxo. Much better than cheap-plastic herb/salt containers from the store. I buy large mixed herb/seasoning and have 3 of these now on the shelf.

Nice shaker for my daily go to spices. All glass an container. Top is going to take a little time to get used too. Has three settings: Closed, light pour and heavy pour. Seems well made and will stand the test of time. I'm used to the store spice containers that are made out of plastic, I have been known to drop one every once in a while during cooking. Can't wait to see if the glass container withstands a drop from a normal height.

Alright. This little shaker is nice. It will do what you want with most spices. Key word there was "most". I have to agree with others that this shaker isn't going to be able to handle most "red pepper flakes" on the market. I put some of my Flat Iron Pepper Co. (way better than any red pepper flakes you can buy in the grocery store BTW) and I'd say about 65% of my test sample came through the holes. The other 35% was too large to fit through. The shaker looks good and is super functional as OXO products usually are. The lid breaks apart into two separate pieces for good, easy cleaning if your switching seasoning/herbs/spices. I might not be able to use this for the reason I bought it. I wanted it for brisket rub. If I do just salt and pepper, it will most likely be fine. But I'm thinking about putting some of that Flat Iron Pepper Co. mentioned before into it, to give the rub an occasional extra punch of heat. Problem here is that the pepper flakes wont all come out, and I wont be using much of it to begin with because, "them peppers is HOT!" I'll use it for something though. I occasionally take a stab at mixing my own seasonings up and I never have a shaker for them and they go into a Tupper container that I end up forgetting about. Maybe that wont happen anymore.

This is what we use every day to put high-quality cinnamon in our coffee grounds before we brew our coffee in a ninja coffee maker. We get the cinnamon from an Amish country store. The cinnamon is very fine so I just twist the top so it allows the holes to be completely open and tilt it once or twice and sometimes you have to tilt it back up right to let the cinnamon go back to the bottom and then do another tilt to drop some more. I could definitely see this being a really good unit for hot pepper seeds/red pepper flakes.

I’m impressed with how well this shaker jar works. The lid turns smoothly and clicks softly in place to reveal large-ish holes, and another turn gives you very small (somewhat useless?) holes. You can even set it in between the two sizes. Anyway, I found the perfect use tor it! I filled it with Bar Keeper’s Friend. It keeps the powder dry and makes it so convenient. It doesn’t dump too much out with each shake, so you can control how much to use. My only wish is for a larger size - maybe 12 or 16 oz.

Bought for panko shaker. Husband loves size and ease of use.

Great product. I purchased this shaker as an accessory for my 22” Blackstone Griddle. I looked at several others (Blackstone Stainless Steel and some knockoff brands). They were riddled with issues from difficulty opening the lids to rusting. So, I went with my tried and true OXO brand. This shaker has a glass body, adjustable plastic and stainless steel lid. You’re able to change the dispensing from fine to coarse with a simply twist of the top. OXO included notches on the lid ring to prevent slipping. The Shaker is easy to clean and can hold a variety of different spices. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shaker.

Bought this as we had loads of home grown chillis, which I dried and ground in a food processor. The shaker works well and seals with a twist to retain freshness. Perfect for additional pizza topping and cooking spicy food.
