Won’t fit Dell Latitude 5320
Well built but head is too wide to fit my Dell.

Very good for the price
I'm using these in a retail store to secure laptop displays. This seems sturdy, and the lock seems solid. The numbers have a positive click when rotating them. Some combination cables are too easy to reset, leading to accidental resetting to an unknown combination. This one isn't difficult at all, but impossible without a small flat head screwdriver. Just push the screw in, turn a quarter turn, set the new combination, then turn the screw back. The only issue I foresee with this, is the T shaped end. Some slots on laptops, especially the really thin "ultrabook" or "sleekbook" types have very little room to the sides of the slot. This one MIGHT not fit in some of those. The T isn't as wide as some I've seen though, so it may not be an issue at all.I have some of the Targus Defcon locks too. They don't need as much room to the sides of the slot. The build quality seems similar, if not a bit better, with these, and the Targus ones are about $10 more on average. I'm happy with these.edit: I've been using several of these for some time now, and I still like them very much. I've found the easiest way to lock them is dial in the code, then simply stick them in the slot, press, and turn. Make sure you turn in the direction so the numbers are easy to read, or you'll have to turn the laptop upside down or something to dial in the code. Also make sure it is centered in the slot, and that both pins go in the slot, or it isn't locked. Despite my wondering about how well they would work on sleekbooks and ultrabooks, they have fit every one I've tried. No worries there any more.

I work from home and like to get out into coffee shops and other places ...
I wish I bought one of these a long time ago! I work from home and like to get out into coffee shops and other places every now and then just to get out of the house. The problem is that if I'm sitting for a long time in a public place I'll eventually need to get up to go to the restroom or do other things. With this lock I can loop through a fixed table leg (or other furniture/fixture), loop through my backpack and lock off to the computer. This at least makes it difficult even for a brazen thief to attempt to quickly grab my stuff in a public place while I get up momentarily. This gives me a little more piece of mind so I can more comfortably get out of the house to work and for longer periods of time.As for the quality of the product itself, I haven't used other notebook locks so I don't have much to compare to. However, I haven't had any troubles and I couldn't expect this thing to do more or work better. I read some reviews about difficulty setting a new code, but I found this to be pretty easy (just read the instructions, but it's pretty intuitive... set old combo [0-0-0-0 is factory set], push/turn screw on end to vertical position, set new combo, return screw to original position). The red color makes it harder to accidentally leave it somewhere. I use a small velcro strap to keep it in a loop when it's packed in my bag. I've used it it with two different types of computers so far (one is an Asus and the other an HP) and it worked perfectly.

It will fit a "Kensington slot," but is a bit fumbly to get attached
It works as advertised (old HP Laptop). I had some trouble figuring out the trick to getting it attached. One has to twist the locking device so that the locking pins can grab the computer properly. Once that's done, then the combination can be scrambled and the cable secured to the laptop. Was a bit more fumbly than other cables that I have used that have a keylock attachment.

Best computer lock for your money
The lock was very easy to adjust the pass code and also to put into the computer. Overall it's nice and light but also sturdy enough to know it won't get stollen.

Good value, good product
Easy to use and attach to laptop. The quality of the product is very good, though I'm a bit concerned that it's not as heavy duty as I was hoping. Still, a good quality product and a good value.
