Put those bandaids back in the first aid kit. And get that tape back in the toolbox where it belongs. No need to McGuyver finger protection, BUFF Finger Guards will do the trick. Designed to glide smoothly over your middle or index fingers and stay snuggly in place, our Finger Guards eliminate line cuts, lipping cuts and reduce abrasion from repeated motion. Made from lightweight and durable poly LYCRA fabric and sewn with KEVLAR thread to minimize seam burnout, they help keep your line clean by rubbing away salt and grime. Comes 3 per pack and sublimated in some of our most popular angling designs.

Good reusable option instead of tape.
They worked quite well on a recent trip where we spent 3 days swinging flies and stripping running line. Started getting some line bite in my finger after the first half day of the trip and through one of these on for the rest of the trip. Didn't' have any issues with line bite from there on out, could still feel my line fairly well, and I barely noticed I had it on. My friend used one as well and seemed to like it.

Finger saver.
Slick material. Edges curl though (no big problem).Definetly wash after use. I used the same one for a few days. My finger smelled like mildew, as the cloth did to. It comes from stripping a wet line. But as they come it 3 pack change them out as needed. It precents finger burn and digging into your finger. Slides across finger quiter than finger. Its recomended for stripper and lager type fishing. 8wt and up.There are 3 per pack all same style. If u like'em definitely try the Simms brand. Those are top notch. I buy 2 or three packs, since I'm pressed by time, to go fishing. Being ready on the water is a necessity. I can't afford to waste time. Busy work life. Thus the need for buying 2 or 3 packs. 😉 Fish on

Prevents burning of fingers
Spending the day on the water stripping fly line with streamers or bass flies can be rough on your fingers. These finger buffs work great to prevent the burn or fatigue on the fingers.

Good but not good enough.
They are super comfortable, but they are not very elastic. They will stretch very easily and not return to their original size or stay put. I went through 3 pairs and many of the single fingers ended up in the South Pacific Ocean. They feel great but they aren't a heavy duty saltwater all day every day stripping guard.

good quality
I haven't been stripping much line this summer, but seem to be holding up well.I wanted something a little brighter because I have a tendency to leave things laying around. They are expensive for what you get, but I haven't lost 1 yet...

A great product
This is a simple solution to a painful problem. Fly fished for 5 days chasing Albies and no line cuts. The fabric does aa advertised, line moves smoothly across the substrate.
