NECA Predator Series 10 Nightstorm 7" Action Figure

I received this in the mail today, and it was in GREAT condition, without any issues or broken blades. Now lets get to the review!Paint, one word describes this figures paint, FANTASTIC!!! It has all that awesome golden armor and turquoise flesh tones, and as usual, they gave the body a glossy look. Sculpt, the sculpt on this guy is pretty cool, because of all the new armor, but a lot of the sculpt is a reuse of the series 1 Berserker predator, but that's not a big deal. One more really cool thing about the sculpt is the fact that the inside of the mask has a whole bunch of little tiny details and wires!!!!!!! Articulation, the articulation is the same as the Berserker predator, im not mad but im just saying. Accessories, this AWSOME figure comes with two accessories, his staff of pure awesomeness, and a removable mask (for the first time ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Overall if you collect NECA Predators, I would REALLY recommend this action figure!!!

The coloration is fantastic! Such detail! Putting the spear into the Predator's hand made me nervous due to the fragility of Neca's figures. There's not much articulation in this figure but after some effort I managed to get him to do something other than stand around and look awesome. The joints, except for the knees, are well hidden and aren't visible at all. But the knees look awful because they never really line up right even if the leg's straight. All in all I like this figure and am glad to have it in my collection.

Cosmetically, this figure is beautiful... Neca outdid themselves with this figure, from the dabs of grays and blues here and there to the inside of the mask being incredibly detailed, this is undoubtably my new favourite Neca Predator figure. Now lets get to the bad parts.. Getting this guy out of the package is a little tricky at first, knowing Neca's reputation for the blades breaking on the predator figures, it was a little scary removing it from the package. The blades on this figure however are MUCH sturdier than the previous figures, so thats a plus. The paint job, as stated before is great, i love it! BUT the joints in his arms are painted, and once you bend them, the paint chips right off, no big deal since its just a plain black joint, but it would have been nice to keep the blue paint on there. Next, the articulation.. Not the best, his head doesn't move too much, arms are great, but his legs are the issue, if anyone is familiar with the Berserker predator figure, this one has the same kind of legs, there's no articulation in the hip area, the thigh area however, can rotate, the knees obviously bend forward and back, but depending on the way you bend his legs, the outcome looks weird, in a way the legs are kinda warped because the shin plates are oddly placed, not much room for cool poses with his stiff articulation. On to the next issue, which is a huge one for me.. The staff (or what ever its called) DOES NOT fit into his hand... I think i'll have to put it in some hot water for a few minutes to loosen the hand and pry the staff in there because there's no way to get that thing in his hand.. All in all despite the negatives, i can't deny that this is definitely my new favourite from NECA. 5 star rating for the beauty of this figure, minused one for the complaints I mentioned. So to sum it up, if you want this figure simply because it's a beautiful sculpt, then get it! If you're going for more of the pose-ability and taking cool photos of him, you might be disappointed, For my needs (a few simple flicks for instagram then to the shelf for the rest of its life) it's just prefect.

this monster is exceptionally sculpted with detail and paint apps, reminds me of the old glory of Mcfarlane Spawn series. Neca did use older moulds and sadly though the NightStorm suffers with articulation issues of the Series 1 - 9 Predators, it is an amazing paint and sculpt ( one of the best ) and tribute to the Kenner species of Predators. The best part is a removable Mask helmet which is so amazingly detailed. The NStorm is one of the top five Preds made by NECA. the paintwork is awesome too !

Another perfect predator to add to my collection. This item will not be opened. This price was good at $16.99. The shpping from amazon was well done. The figure came in with no dents or scratches. This figure is different from the original ones. The facial and body features are still unique but blue. NECA continues to impress me. Thank you.

This is a really interesting predator to look at. Very nice look to him. Neat feature with the removable mask that goes over his open mandibles. Weaponry and armor looks fantastic. However, his legs, hips and feet are goofy and I don't mean in the way they look. Not sure if this is a defect or the way it was designed, but the hips are frozen and I certainly do not want to force them for fear of breaking something. The knees do bend and rotate. The feet only rotate. But because the hips are frozen, this little dude can only be posed in a straight up standing position, just like you see in the picture. If you move the knees or feet, he just falls over. Still, in the looks department he gets 5 stars.

I received the wrong Predator in the correct box. Disappointed kid on Christmas day, not fun. Hopefully will exchange to make it right.

as with all my neca products the figure is amazing but yhe joints start out tight then they get very slack,i does get alot of problems to get this figure to stand and to stay standing
