I bought this as a sun-brella to keep the sun off of my face in Florida while I walk. I had Mohs surgery on my face so I need more than just sunscreen. The umbrella has some basic pros and a con. Pros: It works! It is lightweight and easy to carry in your purse and while holding it. The umbrella is pretty and the underside of the umbrella is black which I guess is what keeps the sun from shining through. I definitely feel noticeably cooler and more protected when I use it. And the one day I left it in my car and walked to work, I surely missed it!The only real con for me is that is really doesn’t do well in the wind. In my experience, anything more than the lightest of breeze and this things wants to turn inside out. I have not used it in the rain, so I can’t speak to that, however, I did not buy it for a rain umbrella.

Perfect for someone who has had multiple types of skin cancer. It’s sturdy and I didn’t have any problems with wind. It’s great to be able to enjoy the outdoors knowing there’s one more level of protection. Also, it doubles as a rain umbrella.

Covers the sun 100%. I take it everywhere. During a windy day it flipped inside out but I pointed it in the direction of the wind and it popped back into place 😂. It did not break!!

It is a difference when using this for sun protection. I like it for that, however it smells so badly that I never pull it out. I’ve washed it and dried it several times and the smell returns. It was a waste of my money

Nicely compact and comes with a cover for neat storage. I chose navy blue (and while on vacation, saw the pink version which was a nice shade of pink). Easy to open and close. Sturdy.
