Newton Running Men's Aha Ii Ankle-High Shoe

I have looked long and hard for a pair of activity shoes with several missteps along the way. Thanks to my Doctor's recommendation I tried Newton which was new to me. I suffer from neuropathy in the toes and feet. Long distance walking, jogging, hiking has been difficult at best and usually ends up in toe injury, partially due to factors in previous shoes, too heavy, too small, too tight, bad support, design/construction. I was reluctant to try something unknown especially so brightly colored (as Newtons tend to be). I Love this pair of shoes! Well made and light weight!. The first pair of size 14's that actually feel like they are the right size. There is actually a little extra room at the toes for me but not too much and I love that. If you are having trouble finding a good activity shoe I highly recommend this product.

The extra lug and cushion in the forefoot region are definitely more comfortable as I continue to train myself to become a midfoot striker. Also, the fact that the upper is one piece of material vs. two pieces stitched to another piece in the logo area gives the shoe a more uniform feel as far as pressure around the foot. It feels more like putting on a sock with laces if that makes sense. You just have to make sure to not lace them too tight. I wish this shoe had been out when I began trying to transition from a heel striker to a midfoot/forefoot striker. It is more comfortable than the Newton Distance and may be one of the most comfortable shoes I ever worn so far. I just hope the company doesn't try changing it too much. When you have something good, stick with it.

My first pair of Newtons. It take a little getting use to the "lugs" but I ran a half marathon in them with no pain or blisters. The hold up pretty will for a big guy (6'5" 250lbs)

Love these shoes. I walk in them. They do everything I need them to do. When I start running they will certainly do the job. Would buy again absolutely.

These shoes are light and comfortable. You can feel the air pass through the material while running. I have been toe striking for about 1.5 - 2 months prior to this purchase. These shoes seem to support a little more mid than toe. Maybe I should have purchased the next level to toe, but these shoes will work.

With someone who has arthritis in his big toes, it's a great show that keeps toe pain down to a minimum and helps give that little push off when walking or running. I'm glad Newton has improved on their designs. They used to be real basic boring or outrageous with crazy bright colors. These seem to be a very happy medium, at least in regards to my tastes.

Super Schuh, sitzt wie maßgeschneidert, Mittelfuß-Vorfußlaufen wird deutlich unterstützt und erleichtert. Früher musste ich Einlagen tragen, das ist jetzt auch bei Strecken bis 20K nicht mehr erforderlichVersandt leider verspätet und deutlich überteuert 😟😟😟

Fit was perfect, great cushioning, expected some calf soreness adaptingto the Newtons but it was no problem. It is my go to shoe for short andmiddle distances.
