Great Steam Output, attachments are so-so. Will remove paint
I bought a house that had dogs, smokers, and went a long time without proper cleaning. This ended up a being an invaluable purchase for restoring this property. I've used this for:- Removing Paint from hard surfaces- Removing old tape residue from windows, etc.- Removing old stick-on-shelf liner- Cleaning cooking grease off walls- Cleaning tobacco staining off everything- Cleaning grout of years of grime- Cleaning off soot from fireplace- Cleaning Wood FloorsIt outputs quite a bit of steam, and really does a good job loosening up pretty much anything. It's pretty heavy, so if you're doing a large area, you could get a bit fatigued. I used it to loosen up the tobacco staining on the ceiling, and I got pretty sore. When combined with conventional cleaning methods, I think I could manage to clean just about anything.A word of warning. If you're cleaning painted or veneered surfaces, do not stay in place for too long. It will cause the veneer or paint to lose adhesion or bubble up. There's one spot on my cabinet were I made that mistake, and it will haunt me forever. Not the product's fault though. On the other hand, that means it's really good for removing the same. I used it to easily remove paint from windows, faucets, toilets, tile, etc, as well remove years old masking tape that was never removed (previous owners were not master painters, that's for sure...). I also used it to peel up old stick-on shelf liner, which is normally a huge pain, but was a breeze with the steam/scraper tool.Other than the main mop head, the accessories aren't particularly great. I'd like their engineers/designers to spend a little more time think about how the tool is used and improving the accessories, and making them more durable. Replacements are all available on their website though. The fabric steamer tool, which turns into the flat surface tool with a little attachment, broke pretty easily, and the flat surface tool isn't well designed to hold the pads that come with it. It also doesn't swivel like the main mop head, so it's a lot harder to use. The scrubber tools are flimsy and wear out quickly. I found it was more effective to just blast it with the concentrator nozzle and scrub it separately with my preferred brush (careful not to burn yourself, you can). The concentrator nozzle is nice, but they only have one with a 45 degree elbow. It'd be nice if they included a straight one as well. The little scraper tool is pretty good for peeling up tape. The unit did stop steaming after about 4 months of heavy use. It took about 20 minutes with Bissel's chat support through their website to get a warranty replacement sent, so I'd say that's a pretty good result.

Great steam cleaner
I LOVE this steam cleaner! I got it a few months ago and use it all the time and it still works great. It was a great value for the price.

Works well to clean tile floors
I waited to write a review because I wanted to be able to use this a number of times. I purchased this steam mop because I never felt that my tile floor was clean unless I got down on my hands and knees to scrub and then rinse and wipe down with a wrung-out towel - the old-fashioned way. It took a long time. I have a Hoover Floor Mate that I used for years but the scrubbing brushes never seemed to make good contact with the floor and although it was able to vacuum up the water from the floor, the floors were still wet and dirty water left in the grout. I knew I needed something to soak up the water from the grout as well. Using steam helps the floors dry quickly and I know the dirty water is absorbed by the cloth mop. I did find that pre-wetting and squeezing out the mophead before using the steam mop works well to start out as another reviewer mentioned. When the mophead seems to be too wet and leaving a lot of water on the floor, I simply rinse it and wring it out before reinstalling it to continue cleaning. The appliance is heavy and a bit awkward to use just holding the trigger handle - I put my left hand on the long base pole so my right hand doesn't get tired. The self-propelled model probably would've been better for me for floor cleaning but I wanted to be able to use the handheld in my shower. It was too heavy to hold up for continued use on my shower walls and I really didn't notice any better cleaning than using bathroom cleaners and scrubbing sponges. I did use the grout attachment on my kitchen tile grout and the brush seemed too harsh so that I had sandy residue on the floor so I stopped using the grout brush. There were a few areas of the floor with sticky spots or heavier dirt that I needed to go over a few times.

Amazing for cleaning grout
The media could not be loaded. Bought this steamer for my father to clean the barbecue. Then we found the cleaner brush and tried to clean the ugly tile in the new house. This steamer does a frankly amazing job of cleaning grout and tile. I used the straight brush and extender so I could stand and clean. No extra cleaners were needed. I have included a close up video showing the steamer cleaning grout. The steam boils the dirt out of the pores in the grout. Also included is a photo showing a clean section of the floor at the top and an uncleaned section at the bottom of the photo. Where the grout was really bad, I cleaned it and then went over it again to prevent the dirty water from settling back in to the grout pores. I then sealed the grout to prevent any future dirt build up.I and my sister in law have each bought one these steamers for our houses. The steamer works on any greasy, ground in dirt. I use it to clean showers, around the base of toilets, messy stuff in the garage, and floors with wax and polish build up. Spraying on a cleaner before steaming works great for the really bad jobs.

Fabulous steam cleaner!
I use this product on virtually everything! From my floors, to my shower, toilet, tables, windows, inside my car, you name it, you can clean it with this steamer. Highly recommend! The only sight down side is that it’s a little heavy, but that’s expected with the heavy-duty quality of the product.
