JIM DUNLOP Guitar Picks (545PJP140)

These are basically slightly larger jazz III's for the prog shredder, I use them on my bass because of how thick they are though, very good for the price.

I wish I would have tried this years ago. I’m not a good player by any stretch, but I’ve come to love the flow shape and the smaller sizer of a jazz iii. This is closer to a flow than a jazz iii but very close to each. It is what I was looking for. Really hope they keep making this one. The 3 sides on each pick are identical so that is great. Love the raised lettering too. I like these a lot more than the JP Jazz iii’s.

This is the pick I’ve been searching for!!!! Great material - really glides off the strings. Great tone and feel too! JP did his homework and really developed the perfect pick!

There are other picks I like better, but I bought these in a rut to try something different. You don’t have to be a shredder. The texture makes them easy to hold.

So I recently decided that my pick of choice was the standard flow 2.0mm. I decided to give these a try and they in my opinion are the best combo of the jazz iii size and the flow bevels and edges. The fact the pick has three identical tips adds in the overall grip of the pick. It is noticeably smaller than the standard flow but doesn’t feel as small as the standard jazz iii, the pick doesn’t feel like it is going to get lost in my big fingers. I’m really glad I choose to give these picks a try because it put an end to my search for the perfect pick, if you like the jazz iii size but want the flow bevels and edges give these a try you won’t be disappointed!! The only thing that would make them even better is if the had the flow grip added, but that is not a deal breaker.

Been playing for 30 years, and I was blown away by the James Hetfield Fang 1.15, but when this came out I knew the search was over, WOW! And they last a long time. Very smooth, speedy, and articulate, pushes through the string like a knife through warm butter, if you’re into speed, alternate picking, arpeggios, and softer playing as well. I don’t know what he’ll do next, but I can’t see anything to improve.

These pics were exactly what John said they were. Ones that were wide enough to grip very easily that don’t have an issue of sliding off when your fingers are dry.
