PlastiKote CP-253 Hi Gloss Black Brake Caliper Paint - 12 Oz.

Used this on brake calipers and some suspension componenets as well. It's holding up on the calipers still after a year. Good for a rattle can product.Edit: Also have used this to paint the exhaust on a 2 cycle motorcyle. It works very well on that too. This is super durable hi-temp paint. It sprays out beautifully and you are able to lay down a great looking finish. Here's a tip for getting a good finish on a larger surface with a rattle can: Overlap your sprays slightly and make your first pass closest to you and subsequent passes away. That way you are painting over your overspray instead of overspraying on the paint you have just laid down.

I've bought this paint three times now to paint various parts on a motorcycle I'm restoring. This paint is tough and looks good. It's so tough that it is the only spray paint I've ever used that does require cleaning the nozzle after use. If the nozzle clogs, you'll never get it clear again.

Paint holding up good so far. It's more of a royal blue than the picture looks, but it went on nice.

Excellent product. Left a beautiful finish on pitted calipers. I'm talking like glass. I was very satisfied and impressed. Will be buying again without a doubt for the next project. Applied to center parts of the rotor as well as caliper and bracket. Hopefully it lasts. I'm allowing the full cure time before handling just so if any flaws it on product not me. Fallowed directions and ended up to this point completely satisfied

I used this paint to paint my rear calipers on my car. The paint took forever to dry (months, YES... believe it). It took so long that I had to paint one side with the caliper on the car to avoid down time and because I had one side already painted. Also when I had to bleed my calipers.. about a year later, the paint came off in a nasty goo like fashion. The paint would have been the perfect color BUT the actual paint sucked bad. Wouldn't recommended it to anyone. There are better caliper paints out there.

Probably going to use this stuff on everything I paint black because it's good quality paint

I painted my intake plenum with this product with good results. The plenum doesn't get very hot so I can't attest to the paint's heat resistance. The paint took a good month or so before the paint smell wore off.
