Clover 3.0mm Crochet Hook
Love all the clover hooks as they are really comfortable to hold and with having arthritis in fingers they make it so much easier to crochet with. I had to get this crochet hook as I didn’t have this one the 3.0mm and couldn’t find it in my local craft stores, the price was great and the durability will last a long time as my others have. Love the different colors of each clover hooks. The yarn glides perfectly to make each stitch count. I bought my other ones from Amazon also, the ease of finding them on Amazon as well as the prices, nothing compares in my opinion.

Like butta
Clover Amour is a little higer priced than your average hook, but worth every single penny. There are some bargains on here that look a lot like them, but they do not feel like them. Yes, those bargains they have a similar ergonomic grip with a color for each size but that is where the similarities end. Clover is a hybrid hook. Ever wish your tapered hook had just a little more point or your inline hook eased into those tight stitches just a little easier? You know you've pictured that Bates/Boye love child. A hook that doesn't bulge larger than the neck and no chance of working into that tight foundation chain. A hook that has a taper so subtle it keeps your gauge under control like an inline. A throat that is deep enough to really hold onto that loop, but not so deep it snags on the pull-through. Yes, yes, and yes. But Baby B/B has a leg up on both parents. The finish on these hooks is flawlessly smooth. Seriously, they must be coated with magic. You won't feel any drag or hear the squeak with these. Add it up. Easy into the stictch+easy pull through+no drag=faster and more consistent stitches. Like I said, worth every penny more than the bargain look-alike set. If you don't believe me and don't want to risk buying a whole set, start here with a single number six (or size of your preference and pair it with that yarn you kinda hate but you guess it's OK because the colors are amazing and sure it's a little scratchy, but it's not rubbing your fingers raw so it's OKish. It will make that big box abundant yarn just a little bit better with the glide assist these hooks give. If it doesn't live, you've got a moderately priced back up in your favorite size. No harm no foul. But when, not if, it does live up to the hype, skip this one by one stuff and get the full set.Disclaimer: if you are a 100% committed Boye or Boyd person and are unable to see any flaw in your chosen nor any redeemable quality in the other, your mind is set and will not be changed, you loyal old dog then you might not love these Clover hooks. Give one a try anyway and tell me you aren't thinking about how this finish would improve even your one and only hook above all others.

It's just awesome...
To this day I will never understand why clover armor crochet hooks are so much better and easier to use than others that look identical... I've even purchased these hooks as gifts for friends that have crocheted for decades with their family hooks passed down from their mothers and grandmothers and they're shocked at how much better these work and how much smoother they are to use! These really are top notch and I can recommend you get these in every size you need because they're just fantastic! Every time I use a different hook for perhaps a size I don't have in clover, all it does is make me jump on Amazon and buy that size and clover! These things are just great crochet hooks. All crochet hooks are clearly not the same... These things are a dream to crochet with! Highly recommend it!

Perfect
As long as the quality stays the same I will always and forever be ordering these. They work great. It’s just that I misplaced them. Not clovers fault at all and just means I buy more! One of these can last a lifetime if you keep up with it! They’re perfect. No other hook compares.

Good investment
I wanted to learn to crochet and bought a cheaper set to begin with in case I decided this was not for me. However, I have really gotten to enjoy crocheting small projects (scrubbies and hats) but got frustrated because my current set kept dropping stitches. I have read many reviews on different brands and kept coming back to Clover. This is an “investment” because these hooks are not cheap, however, they are totally worth the price! No more slippage. Your projects get done faster. The hooks are smooth and color coded for different sizes. My only issue is that I have old eyes and the embossed size is difficult to read.

Love the Comfort Grip
I purchased this - 0.75mm - to go with my Aunt Lydia's Size 30 thread purchase. It was the recommended hook on the label. Needless to say, it was too small for the thread but still usable. The comfort grip made crocheting manageable.Added bonus: the cap for the hook is nice. There were too many close calls during hook sorting.

Big difference between Clover 1.75 mm and 2.0 mm.
I’m a big Clover Amour fan, and I’ve tried many brands. I have the regular set, the small lace size set, and the large hook set in the brand. None of the sets have a 2.0 mm hook. I was so surprised to find that out. I was using the largest hook from my lace-sized set but realized it would look slightly better with a slightly bigger hook, so I purchased this one. The difference in shaft and handle size between the 1.75 mm (left) and the 2.0 mm is significant. I have arthritis in my hands, and I’m really appreciating the larger handle. I think my set(s) are COMPLETE now.

Worked great!
It worked great for beading while knitting. I used size 6 miyuki beads with it.
